I'm posting this story for one reason only - to expose the reasoning of this "judge" who uses low IQ and childhood deprivation to support an argument that this obviously dangerous person should not be detained.

These two facts about this criminal - that he is stupid and that he has had a hard life - have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the issue in front of the "judge", which is, does he meet the criteria of the law for detention.

How many judges like this are there on the bench? What sort of executives appoint them? And how can they be removed?

By the way, this is an excerpt - the main body says he was appointed by Jane Swift (R) before Mitt was in office, in case you were wondering.

The judge said Saunders, who was sentenced to four years for the attempted rape of a 7-year-old boy in 1999, had not committed any major sexual offense while he was in prison.

That's because children to rape are few and far between in a prison, judge...
