I think that there needs to be a putsch at the National Convention. It’s the only way to save the party.

....but will write in Mickey Friggin' Mouse if John McCain is the Republican Presidential nominee. Based on my past behavior I will probably vote for my party's nominee. I voted for Bob Dole. But I won't put up signs, talk to my friends and neighbors or stuff an envelopes.

You’re not alone but I’m waiting to see what happens on super Tuesday before I walk down to the local election board and change my party affiliation to independent.

But John McCain will “reach out” to Democrats and lead the fight on Global Warming. Love that Carbon Tax, John.

McCain was one of the first to admit that the 2006 defeat was because the Republicans were not living up to its conservative principals. Then he went right on to co-author the worst amnesty bills ever drafted. He can’t even learn his own lessons.

I am in your boat. He’ll get my vote. I probably won’t help out this time around.

I voted for Bob Dole, too. But I won’t vote for McCain.

When they came for the Libertatarians, I did not object for I was not a librertarian.
When they came for the conservatives, I did not object because I was not a conservative.
When it came time to vote, there were too few republicians left to win anything.......

If McCain gets the nomination, he will win the election and should be challenged for the 2012 nomination.
Who would be best to take down a sitting Republican President in 2012?

Any vote for Huckabee in the South is a vote for a contested convention and this remote possibility.

I think some shock therapy is in order in November. When McCain leads the party to historic loses, there may finally be a house cleaning.

I think the Republicans are always dissing the Conservatives. My personal favorite is when Bush invited people Bill Maher, Al Frankin, etc. to a White House dinner where he did not invite people like Savage, Limbaugh, etc. That was the night that Laura was joking about going to see Chippendales and how George tried to milk a male horse.

And we will...
Conservatives can make a new home, can the Republicans keep from merging with the Democrats?

To save the Party, you first need to get rid of those in control of the Party. Look to the money people.

A vote for McCain is a vote for the second coming of Lyndon Johnson (father of "The Great Society.") Wouldn't your rather have at least one Republican to choose from next November?

McConan the "Republican"? Just say NO!

Do you all realize we as conservatives have been battling John McCain more than Hillary Clinton the last 8 years? How can we support him? At least Hillary will stab us in the front.
