Whoa-ho! I’ve been saying I’ll write in Montgomery Brewster ever since Ferd dropped out! Good show!

Nothing new. Politics is dirty, all the way around. This was covered in the 2000 election.

And use of push-polling in South Carolina lobbed a few rumors about the parentage of McCain’s “black” daughter. No, his daughter was not the result of a romantic liason with an African-American, as was implied. His daughter was adopted from Bangladesh while his wife Cindy was there doing charity work.

The media loved telling the false story. But this time in S. Carolina, McCain addressed that rumor early with the use of campaign literature.

Unfortunately those Republicans who vote for McCain can’t see that fact. They think McCain will be insulated from attacks because he is supposedly on friendly terms with the media. Get real. McCain will get savaged by them the minute his nomination was assured.

My prediction is that Sen. John ‘Rodham’ McCain will collect enough delegates during the next few months to win, but will suffer some type of medical or physical emergency over the summer, prior to the Republican Convention.

The delegates at the Convention will thus be “allowed” to switch their votes, due to a decree from the RNC powers-that-be... and Mitt Romney (runner up in delegates) will emerge the GOP Presidential nominee.

Of course this won’t sit well with all the ‘open convention’ advocates who are still under the assumption that the RNC Chairman would select Duncan Hunter or Newt Gingrich if only the selection process is thrown wide open.

I voted for Mitt in the early voting here in TN.

Your vote is the one that will put Mitt over the top, I predict.

Not enough time for Mitt to catch McCain.

With Guiliani gone, all sorts of things could happen in next week's primaries which are unexpected.

As long as Guiliani supporters don't follow Rudy's sychophantical advice and support Sen. John 'Rodham' McCain.

And if Huckabee would come back to earth and ALSO drop out, the combined votes could make Romney the winner of a substantial number of upcoming states.

But alas, politics is nothing if not about egos.

Even a Baptist preacher, who one would think has common sense, can catch the political bug and begin to believe he is invincible.

I'd rather have Romney than McCain but I take exception to this "religous bigotry" statement...

Mormons who will vote for Romney simply because he's a Mormon are as much bigots as people that will not vote for a Mormon no matter what..

Ideally....you vote for someone who holds your political values....I can't believe most Mormons believe in gay marriage or abortion....but they will vote for Romney anyway...

it strikes me that more people would consider Romney if his legions would back off and stop trying to intimidate others thru their "bigotry" claims....look in the mirror first...

It's NOT over yet!

Don't forget that with Guiliani out of the running, many of his votes just might go to Romney -- which could put Romney on top.

As long as the Guiliani supporters don't follow Rudy's self-serving advice and support McCain.

I am going to vote. “None of the above.” Because there is no Conservative in the race.

I am enjoying watching your lying little liberal twit Joe Isuzu Romney go down in flames. I next look forward to the squishy sound of the lemmings committing mass-seppaku when their fearless leader bites the big one (politically speaking).

I will laugh and laugh and laugh, because nobody in the campaign deserves what’s coming to him more than that assclown and his short-bus riding troops.

:-)

Going from a Conservative giant like Fred to a pathological lying liberal sleaze makes as much sense as dropping an anvil on your privates from a great height. You should still cast your vote for Fred.

From my own polling amongst those who keep up. (Which is few). After Fred dropped out it went decidedly Romney.

Same thing I'm hearing here in TN from those who keep up with things. I'm just worried about the folks who don't. Sigh.

let's not be too hypocritical here...McCain did what a good number of men do...dump their long time wives' for a younger woman...

Tom Clancy did just that...I don't see anyone not buying his books or watching his movies....

let's consider the real questions of this campaign....not Romneys religion or McCains affair....

we killed off Rudy...we killed off Tancredo...we killed off Fred...and Duncan....WHY ARE WE KILLING OUR OWN?

And Obama voted "present" on the tough issues. You are no better.
