“Sentimentality is loving people more than God would.”

No one loves people more than God does.

I always find it creepy when Freepers do the “guilty” / “not guilty” thing based on physical appearance.

I found your whole post creepy.

No one who is mentally unstable should hold any public office.

If we followed that, Congress could be conducted in a phone booth. Might not be a bad idea.

Precisely. Think about it. It's a comment on sentimentality, not on God.

as for PEA, my alma mater indeed, I am pleased to see that it is still preparing its students to deal with anything they’ll meet out in the world. I doubt they are engendering transgenderism, but the may still be teaching students how to treat the help. I hope so. :) I take it you didn’t go to either. That’s a shame. They had and have a generous scholarship system for the poor. I’m told that’s part of the multicultural program.

Apparently it wasn't generous enough to buy your family a better limo. Or multicultural enough to teach its students not to scorn a boy who arrived in last season's Bentley.

tsk.

True, but it made men out of us. Huc venite pueri, ut viri sitis! (It was too bad about the kid in that old S1)

He/she/it could be the face of Republican party if Mitt Romney ended up in the White House.

Times change. I like the new motto. A few years back I was there for a major reunion. The school seems a better place today than in my day and I expect that’s attributable to the presence of the girls. What a great bunch of kids! I’m very happy about the changes, I’m very happy about how my class turned out (an excellent group of fellows who grew up to be fine men, husbands and fathers) and I am very proud of my old school.
