If he loses Florida--where he has virtually LIVED for the last few months--his campaign will have exceeded Howard Dean's when it comes to ineptitude (and Rudy didn't even have to scream. It will be the mismanagement standard.....and 'model'.....for all future "how-NOT-to-run-a-campaign" strategies. After all, how many candidates have EVER blown a lead as big as the one he had??

Giuliani worships at the Church of Whatever Works For Me. He has no moral center, he has no spiritual fidelity, and is completely without political loyalty. Says he's "conservative" but sucked up to liberals, sought Liberal backing, and employed numerous Liberals as Mayor/candidate. He worships abortion, gay rights, and gun grabbing----all completly against Republican principles.

Giuliani's most fervent wish is to religiously cleanse the party and dump so/cals off the party lifeboat. Rudy can get on his knees and hail Beelzebub dawn til dusk-----that ain't gonna happen.

Giuliani’s campaign advisers are fools. They thought Giuliani could use his 9-11 hero status to launch him to the nomination without any retail politics. It turns out that there are no “bye” weeks in the political playoffs. The lesson to be learned here is that you have to show up to play in order to win. For that, I will give Mitt Romney credit for.

Yeah, the NYT roasted him and I know that a lot of Freepers will clap hands in delight. But, as I trudge through the news, attempting to reconcile my loss of Fred Thompson, Rudy still figures in my thinking.

Mitt's just too perfect and too, oh, I don't know -- grey. Not the hair, mind you, his persona. Rudy's got a bit of fighting spirit in him and that appeals to me.

And before I get flamed, let me just say that if McCain, Romney and Huckabee supporters get to choose their candidates for emotional reasons, then I reserve the right to, too. Yippee!. Now that Fred's out of the race I can stop thinking logically and have fun along with the rest of the party.

It's actually quite liberating . . . and sobering when you think about how we'll probably lose in November because we don't have a damned thing different to offer.

Rudy had way too much baggage and you really never want to be the Front Runner. Now after Tuesday he will be yesterday’s news. He was counting to much on the transplanted New Yorkers voting but they aren’t going for him. So we are probably going to get down to McCain and Romney. If that is the choice then I guess absent any other alternative I will vote Romney. Lord Deliver US if the Fall Nominee is McCain.
Conservatives have been in the Wilderness before and we can survive but we need a new voice and who will it be????
