Merchant estimates Zyrtec will sell for between $20 and $25. That mean some consumers may be paying more now for the drug than they did when it was covered by insurance. Ha! I'd happily pay $20 or $25 for a month's supply. I'm paying $30 or $35 just for the co-pay with my insurance (Blue Cross).
The co-pay went through the roof when Claritin went OTC.
But Claritin doesn't work very well for me and Zyrtec works great. And my 10-year old takes Zyrtec too, to suppress asthma triggers.
