How many are on their way to California where its Austrian governor is holding out the hope of free medical care for any that can make it west on I8, I10 or I40?

Sonoran Gov. Eduardo Bours, meanwhile, says Mexico must do more than point a finger of blame at the United States.

He launched the initiative "Migrantes Trabajando" ("Working Migrants") for deported countrymen who want to stay in Sonora. The program is designed to assist all deported workers, not just those from Arizona.

"We need to find the opportunities in our country," Bours said. "To me, it seems too easy to blame the United States and not do anything ourselves."

I wonder what Eduardo's life expectancy is right about now?

Lets wait and see how much of our tax money goes to Mexico City for distribution to Sonora.

"...the moment (immigrants) leave Arizona, we're going to have problems," said Enrique Flores Lopez

The moment they came over our border as criminal insurgent aliens WE had a problem. Now it's your problem Enrique.

Mexican lawmakers have collected anecdotes about crowded classrooms and more people roaming the streets...

No "anecdotes" when they came here. Killings, rapes, tax laws broken, false documents, children illegally enrolled in schools, sucking the welfare money dry etc etc.

"...Mexico must do more than point a finger of blame at the United States."

"We need to find the opportunities in our country," Bours said. "To me, it seems too easy to blame the United States and not do anything ourselves."

Well, he got that right. The blame all goes to Mexico in spite of the fact our government let it happen

I feel better now...

Bleep Mexico....again blaming the US because they are a cesspool.

I am tired of the anti-American bigotry from the pro-illegal crowd

I thought that would be the subject of the article. It never crossed my mind that a Mexican city would be asking for aid from Mexico.

I am surprised they didn’t sue the U.S. for money to take care of their returning people.

I don’t think they ALL are “fleeing.” Hillary was down in Laveen tonight pimpin’ herself for their “votes.” She is definitely working hard to lock in the illegal alien “vote.”

Remember when East Berlin was ‘liberated’?
Has West Berlin recovered yet from the influx of undereducated, unemployable people who had been dependent on the government for everything?
Mexico will end up suing US (and winning big)but you know where those ‘spoils’ will go

VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS

"Self-deportation can work"

Self deportation creates socio-economic problems for both countries in the border region.

Operation Wetback in the 50s created severe problems. Today, those that self deport are more affluent than in the 50s so it should be less of a problem.

ROTFLMAO!

Mexico City: What do you mean you need money to support these people? It didn’t cost the US anything to keep them all these years.

(sarcasm off)

Welcome to the REAL world, Mexico.

We need to boycott Mexican product and Mexican workers. Mexico’s sense of entitlement is outrageous.

Good for Arizona.... finally... I think the politicians on both sides of the border are far more accountable for the illegal activity than people seeking a better life and willing to work ‘slave’ wages and live 15 + in single family dwellings. Politicians and some religionists have counseled these people to come into our country, and without so much as a blink of the eye TAX US without representation to give medical care and education.

Now a mass exodus will most likely cost some politicians votes come November, that is unless absentee ballots have already been sent.

I do not have a problem with Mexican production, I have a problem with our government politicians and some religious orders sending out official sounding welcoming invitations.
