The Girandoni Rifle, invented in 1780, was equivalent to a 20-round .45ACP semiautomatic.
I had not heard of these. Many thanks.
Best regards,
I think the combined intelligence of our Founding Fathers, when compared to the politicians of today, and yes I’m including the good and great guys like Z. Miller, Hunter, Tancredo, and Sheriff Joe (even though he’s not a politician), the guys of today just can’t compare to the Founding Fathers.
They were a completely different breed.
I think if the Founding Fathers were aware of our weapons today, they’d have three of each for spare parts, and would carry all the gear and ammo they could barely run with.
