I heard the interview with Delay. He was really po’d with MCQueeg back stabbing the Republicans on issue after issue while Tom was in Congress. So he had first hand information.

That is what I witnessed with McQueeg on all the Sunday morning talk show programs. The liberal media just loved it. So no McQueeg for me either. He can’t have it both ways.

*shakes head* yeah........

I’ve long been against those who ‘vote against’, such as those who voted against bush and pulled the lever for kerry, or those who voted against clinton and pulled the lever for dole.

I’ve long been saying that I wouldn’t be the kind of person who would vote against, I would only vote for.

Now, I’m seriously considering making myself a hypocrite.

I’m completely compelled to vote against this guy, even if it means voting democrat.

I live the 2nd amendment .... but I don’t have the confidence in McLame to follow him as he chose to crap on the 1st amendment. (McLame Feingold)

Why would he support the 2nd amendment, other than to get elected. Come to think of it, he defecated on Tax cuts and joined the 14 weasels (rinos) in the judicial appointment's situation.

His record with conservative judges ...not so good. His record with appeasing democraps ... wonderful.

I see absolutely no difference in him than I did in J “effing” Kerry (I think he served in Nam) The two are of the same ilk.

I will NEVER vote for another RINO. Death by a thousand cuts from spineless RINO, richard craniums. It is all we have known these days.

Carter ran the country into the ground -— the shock was necessary to wake the RINOs up.

A massive recession and some stagflation with high energy costs -— along with a disaster in the ME and maybe a bomb or two on the Eastern Seaboard will be a reminder of what we get with liberals.

It’ll be bound to give us conservative government for years afterwards.

LOL! You expect CNN to know how a true Conservative Republican will vote? I will NOT vote for McCain, Giuliani or any other RINO. PERIOD! And I know that a few million will agree with me — Enough to deprive McCain or Giuliani the presidency.

Oddly, I would vote for Rudy the babykiller before Romney the babykiller who lies about it.

But the choice is like “do you want to be beaten with a bat or a pipe?”

Tom Delay was the Republican Leader who blew a hole through the deficit. Mr. Earmark himself. At least McCain will control federal spending.

Delay was one of the reasons the Republicans lost Congress, with his huge spending on pork.

You are so articulate.

But no, this is serious. There’s no way I’m voting for Hillary, some of you must think a Hillary win might “strengthen the party” and you might be right ... but I’m not going to run that risk in a time of war. Hell no.

Another poster said the Dems won’t really pull out of Iraq, I kind of see what you are saying, but it’s a gamble I’m not willing to take. A Hillary administration will be a national disaster!

This is so disappointing.

I can’t believe anyone is dumb enough to vote for McCain in the Republican primary, especially after he tried to shove his illegal amnesty legislation down America’s throats last summer (WHICH HE WROTE!!!). Plus he was AGAINST the Bush tax cuts, plus he assaulted the 1st Amendment right to free speech with his disasterous McCain-Feingold legislation. The man is consistently WRONG on a host of issues.

I’m very, very sorry to write this, but unless America snaps to very quickly, I believe John McCain will be the next President of the United States.

If it comes down between him and Hillary in the general election, I’ll have to put a bag over my head, hold my nose, and vote for the guy. Actually, in a contest between anybody and Hillary, I’ll have to vote for the “anybody else” candidate.

We may very well have to get a RINO like McCain in the Oval office before we can get another man with the godly, strong, conservative principles of Ronald Reagan.

WAKE UP AMERICA! JOHN MCCAIN IS NO CONSERVATIVE!!!

Delay just has sour grapes, he got kicked out of his job and is acting like a sore loser

It was because of spineless, moderate Senators like McCain that Delay lost his job.

Delay is a conservative and the Kennedy wing of the party helped oust him.

Go back to DU. I think I've seen that you've been told this at least three times today alone!

Were you alive when Carter was in office?

Yeah ... I voted for Ford. I probably have more time on board at FR then you have since graduating from middle school ... assuming, of course, you did.

Whether McCain or Hillary, the same thing happens to the country. It is only a matter of who gets blamed for it, the Democrats or the Republicans. I would rather have the Democrats to blame.

I will not vote for McCain either. But it goes deeper than that.

How can I vote for, support or endorse a political party that would nominate its own Judas? My god, the GOP really is the “Stupid Party”. What the hell would anyone expect from McCain that they wouldn’t get from a Democrat - other than a lot of empty talk about being a Teddy Roosevelt Republican?

We have a smaller tax cut today because of John McCain. We have less intelligence methods at our disposal to fight the War on Terror because of John McCain. We have fewer conservative judges on the bench today because of John McCain. And we can’t even run campaign ads critical of John McCain because of John McCain.

Could any sane person actually want to have this man lead our party after stabbing us in the back so consistently then trotting off to CNN to bash our president on a regular basis?

It’s not me who is committing suicide against the Republican Party. It’s all those lining up to vote for pretend conservatives like John McCain.

No, you misunderstood my post. It's clear to me that certain people are in denial if they think real conservatives are going to hold their noses and pull the lever for McCain. I, for one, will not vote for McCain under any circumstances, no matter who is running against him.
