Bingo. We’ve ended at the same place in our thinking. Huckabee is the outsider and the only “joker in the deck.” We don’t know what happens if Huckabee gets enough delegates to throw the convention into multiple rounds of voting. We know what we get with McCain and Romney: An establishment candidate that will continue to rip apart the Reagan coalition in favor of corporate interests and Washington interests.
Given the history of his family what are the chances he will build a border fence?
Down toward the bottom of the Wikipedia page is something interesting about Spencer Abraham. He was Fred’s first campaign manager.
There is a lot of speculation that Fred was a stalking horse for McCain, but there are a few bits of information that suggest he could be a stalking horse for Willard.
