Sounds like you’re lazy

Sounds like you're ignorant.

I’m too polite to say what you appear to be. But I bet I know what one of those “A”s stands for.

Here’s a fun little tidbit from the News.Yahoo website.

He (Fischer) praised the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, saying, “I want to see the U.S. wiped out,” and described Jews as “thieving, lying bastards.”

I think I discovered the root cause of his personal problems...

In 1982, Fischer published the pamphlet, “I Was Tortured in the Pasadena Jailhouse!”, detailing his experiences following his arrest on May 26, 1981

Morphy... arguably the strongest player ever. Fischer thought so.

They’ve had Capablanca, Alekhine, Petrosian Memorial Tournaments. Alekhine was very controversial too, collaborated with the Nazis, but was after all originally a Russian so maybe that was covered up because he could serve their propoganda purposes.

Perhaps a Fischer memorial will be held some day and then, maybe again not.

Certainly, they will be held, but to what caliber it might be a big tournament I’m not sure of.

Wow! 64! ... he reached the last square on the board.

Adams and Jefferson picked their time.
Mark Twain picked his time.
My own Dad picked his time.
Bobby Fischer picked his time too.
And I must say, obviously picked his place as well.

Though a nut job, Mr. Fischer in the early 70’s gave America a reason to be very proud when he went up against the big bad bear and took their most prized trophy, the world chess championship.
It was at least the equivelant of the U.S.A. hockey team winning the gold.

For many year I had the daily AP teletype printouts, on canary yellow in purple ink, of each game’s moves in his contest with Spatsky.
Now that they may be worth something I can’t remember where I stored them.
