Well, I got Thompson first, which is correct, but McCain and Giuliani for 2nd and 3rd? NO WAY!!

These matching bots don’t take into account the key element of trust. If a candidate says exactly what I want him to say, but I don’t think for a minute he will carry through, I will not support him just because he is mouthing the right words.
For instance, although I agree with what Huckabee is saying in the last few days about illegal immigration, I don’t support him more because of those statements because I have absolutely no expectation that he would maintain these positions after Election Day.

Was entertaining, but didn’t work for me. Gave me Mitt, Rudy (I don’t think so), and Tom Tancredo (it got one right).
Using the immigration part as an example, I only got to choose one thing, while I needed to give multiple answers.
That last question needed a “None of the above”.

Close, but no cigar. A couple of their questions are lacking in the balance department.
I’m just back from the ‘bot, and it put Rudy at #1 for me. But I would not trust Rudy as far as I can spit a rat, so I am not inclined to vote for him.
Thompson is in the #2 slot, and I may disagree with him on certain things, but he strikes me as a principled and honest conservative who will keep his word, so I can vote for him, no problem.
I got McCain, Giuliani and Hunter. Only the third one is correct.
On Border Security there was no "E. All of the Above"
On "Global Warming" there was no choice for, "Global Warming is a hoax."

Seriously though, that last question... total bunk. Where’s the “I don’t care if they’re a governor or senator” option. I’m sure that there are better quizzes out there.

Exactly. What a candidate says today may sound good, but not if you know that he has pursued the opposite policies for years.
