You can be sure that this will be made well known in areas where that flag isn't quite as welcome.
I don't care one way or the other. I can do without either of them.

Ron Wilson, an official with the group airing the ads, declined to say how big the buy was. But he confirmed that it was running on all South Carolina radio stations that carry Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Bill O’Reilly.
Have they listened to Rush lately? :)

I wonder if these flaggers know that the “traitor”, David Beasley, has endorsed Huckabee.

What does state’s rights have to do with the confederate flag issue? The federal government has never really been involved with the issue and still isn’t. My “shallow pandering” meter is clicking off the charts right now. Sounds like cheap populism at it’s finest, very Huckabeeish.

Hope those ads don’t run too long. Huck might change his mind in a couple of days.

Exactly. Nobody's really looking to rip the flag stickers of some good ol' boy's truck.
He skirts the issue entirely and fools the rubes again.

More free publicity. The guy plays to win. Ya gotta like that.

Huck’s team at least knows how to run a campaign. The same can be said of McCain’s folks. It remains to be seen if Fred’s team can recover from their earlier fiasco.

"Most South Carolinians are so sick of the flag issue and want it to go away. " That's an odd thing to hear coming from someone with the name "Abbeville" in their handle.

"How so?" From Wiki...
Abbeville has the unique distinction of being both the birthplace and the deathbed of the Confederacy. On November 22, 1860, a meeting was held at Abbeville, at a site since dubbed "Secession Hill", to launch South Carolina's secession from the Union; one month later, the state of South Carolina became the first state to secede. It was also the birthplace of noted states rights advocate John C. Calhoun.
At the end of the Civil War, with the Confederacy in shambles, Confederate President Jefferson Davis fled Richmond, Virginia and headed south, stopping for a night in Abbeville at the home of his friend Armistead Burt. It was on May 2, 1865, in the front parlor of what is now known as the Burt-Stark Mansion that Jefferson Davis officially acknowledged the dissolution of the Confederate government.

Here's the real story guys: Huckabee is digging into Fred's support. This is an issue that is tailor-made for Fred, but Huckabee usurped it at the last minute.
It will be a dark day for conservatives if Mike Huckabee wins SC.
