Yes I am, and it is really a drag, however, this is far more than a skin condition.

Another gay disease, perhaps. Seems to be a lot of that in the news lately.

Researchers are divided about whether the syndrome represents a real, physical disease or is a manifestation of mental illness.Bay Area, huh? It is probably both: a real physical disease that is a manifestation of mental illness (queerism or faganoia or maybe even bi-pole-er disorder).

Imagining insects crawling under your skin is a symptom of amphetimine psychosis, brought on by use of meth and/or coke. I wonder if that’s the cause of some of this?
The movie “A Scanner Darkly” is a production of the work of sci-fi author Phillip K. Dick, who had a serious speed addiction. It is a very sad movie, and begins with someone experiencing the crawling bug hallucination. The movie and book both chronicle the discent into paranoia and madness that amphetimine use ensures.

No.. this does not appear to be related in any way to preferences or persuasions.. it is a weird condition.

No, it’s not a gay disease, and that’s BS, Morgellons is all over the US, in every state, it’s the same old misinformation like happened with lyme, you don’t have lyme unless you get the bulls-eye rash, well, they now know that is total bunk, very few infected have the bulls-eye rash, it’s uncommon given the data to get it, but that was the info at the beginning.

"Imagining insects crawling under your skin is a symptom of amphetamine psychosis, brought on by use of meth and/or coke. I wonder if thats the cause of some of this?" Users of meth and/or coke are very familiar with those symptoms. They would not mistake effects familiar to them with a mystery illness, IMO. But who knows? If it's real.. yuck!

My guess is it is a real but rare infection. There have been reports all over the US. Here is a picture of the fulfillments said to emerge from the skin:
