You’ll have to excuse me, I’m still putting ice on where it hurts after the Cowboys folded to the Giants. Anyway, GO PACKERS!!!

Giuliani refused the request after which the man could be heard grunting. I have the same reaction whenever I hear Julie Annie, or see his stupid TV ads...

“Rudy better not show his face Sunday in Lambert Field!”
Isn’t that pronounced Lame-Bo field? I’m a Rams fan (how lame is that?) but on this one I’ve got to root for the Gigantos.

Right. After seeing the video, it seems like it was all done in good fun. Team support and rivalry.

I agree. It’s much ado about nothing. Then again, most news is these days.

I think Rudy is loathsome.
I think the Packers fan was being a jerk.
YMMV

All Rudy had to do was write Giants by 7 and then sign it. Would have had better play than refusing. This is really the solution. I'll bet Rudy wishes he'd thought of it.

Entire “segment” of the population? You really think there’s that many Packer fans in the country that they’d be considered a “segment”? LOL.

Cute, AU72. You obviously remember this story from the last election campaign:
Kerry Drops Ball With Packers Fans - September 15, 2004
"... Both candidates are targeting them with the ferocity of a Brett Favre bullet, but only John F. Kerry has fumbled the name of the hallowed grounds on which the Packers play, the frozen tundra of Curly Lambeau Field.
At a campaign event last month, the Democratic presidential nominee called it Lambert Field -- a slip of the tongue carried on television, in papers throughout the state and on ESPN's Web site."

I’m a Viking fan and still not voting for Rudy.

I’m still smarting from the original ‘67 Ice Bowl, where the Pack beat the Cowboys for the NFL title in the last 30 seconds (Howard Cossell snarl “with Jerry Kramer throwing the key block”).
But SnowBowls are fun, and I hope it snows. And snows.
I think the Pack is Back, and will boot the frozen Jints back to NJ.

Yes, that Ice Bowl game was rough in Green Bay, and Jerry Kramer admitted in his autobiography that he wasn't sure he didn't jump before the snap, but the most inhuman playoff game I've ever seen was when San Diego had to play Cincinnati in
the Freezer Bowl.
"January 10, 1982 - "The Freezer Bowl," The Bengals defeated the San Diego Chargers in the AFC Championship Game, 27-7, the coldest game ever played in NFL history. The wind chill factor brought the game-time temperature down to −56 degrees Fahrenheit. The Bengals' offensive linemen were on the field with their standard sleeveless jerseys in an effort to intimidate a Charger team more accustomed to the warmer California weather. The game has entered NFL lore as the Freezer Bowl."
