Romney would be the easiest for Hillary to beat.!

I'm sure you meant to say "hardest"...

That's OK. Easy to understand the mistake.

Romney -- unlike McCain, Huckster, Guiliani, Paul, or Hunter -- has received support, promotion, and defacto endorsement language from Limbaugh, Coulter, Tom Tancredo, Judge Bork, Mark Levin, Sen. Jim DeMint, Paul Weyrich, Bob Jones III, Michelle Malkin, Hugh Hewitt, Jay Sekulow, countless Republican conservative office holders, and countless other conservative pundits and writers.

As much as you might dislike Mitt Romney, he is being widely accepted and endorsed by rock-solid conservatives across America.

Romney is already attracting the votes of many in the mushy middle, along with conservative Democrats, and others

It’s been reported Romney enjoys a 3-1 advantage amongst absentee’s.

Nice!

Since the only Dem on the ballot is Hillary, Dems are staying home.

You’d think the Obama / Edwards supporers would vote uncommitted like the campaigns were asking so that Hillary wouldn’t get the delegates..

There are no Dem. delegates at stake in Michigan.

Losing Michigan by 6 points or so is a decent start, though.

That depends on whether the Dem. Presidential nominee insists they be seated, which is a pretty good likelihood.

Unfortunately the sight of Bill and Hillary would cause me to vote for Huck or McCain.

I could reluctantly vote for the huckster. Not mclame. I apply the "living room" test. Could I stand hillary! or mclame in my living room for the next 4 years?

NO WAY!

at this point in the campaign, the majority of people only name those whose name they recognize.

I know Mitt fans want to believe this, but if one cares about what happens in November, it is important to ask whether the evidence supports it.

When 62% of respondents say not that they have no opinion of Romney but that they definitely will not vote for him, enough people know who he is and have an unfavorable opinion to know that he would be a loser for us as a nominee.

I am not wedded to anyone in the race. I just want a nominee who can win, and looking at the facts, I see no evidence that Mitt passes the test.

Romney wouldn’t do a thing different on immigration. Of course the point is moot because he has a snowball’s chance in hell of actually becoming the President. Wait until you see what President Clinton or Obama’s approach to immigration is.

“I just voted for Romney because I thought he had the best shot at beating Hillary.”

That’s a big reason why I’m voting for Romney — I think he’s got the best chance at pulling in the swing voters. He’s got the presidential looks and charisma the other candidates don’t have.

Like it or not, looks and charisma matter to swing voters.
