Some of them were good debaters, some were just plain idiots who thought that anyone with an “R” after their name was a conservative.

Some were just good at intimidation, and condescending, and if that did not work they used slanderous lies.

They are shouting to bring attention to the fact that Rudy promotes baby killing.

They are doing the a job that needs to be done, sacrificing their own reputation to do it.

I am thankful to them. Without them many might be deceived.

They are shouting to bring attention to the fact that the US promotes killing innocent civilians.

I am thankful to them. Without them many might be deceived.

See how easy it is to confuse the two groups?

What would be wrong with allowing BOTH sides to speak?

Because you think they’re too stupid to know the truth. Just like Code Pink.

So Kate’s National Review article is accurate.

What argument did I “lose”? You are delusional if you think that.

Mr. Pokorny was able to follow Mr. Giuliani for more than a minute, yelling out about Rudy's pro-choice, pro-homosexual agenda.

I was with the guy right up to this point. I don't like the idea of following someone down the street yelling at them. It comes off as though the person is out of control and verging on becoming a 'stalker'.

It needs to be taken in context, it was at a parade, it was a public event held on a public street. I may not have been polite, but it sounds like it was effective.

Giuliani did not perform abortions, nor did he make abortion legal, nor did he force women to have abortions, nor did he drive women to the abortion clinic, nor did he make those women have sex with men they didn’t want to have children with.

Absolutely correct, but he does believe abortion should remain legal, and he has stated that he believes their should be taxpayer funding of abortion. His support of the baby killers makes him guilty of aiding and abetting if not actual murder. (Scripturally speaking, he is as guilty of murder as the doc who operates the 'vaccuum'.)

That may be true, but that certainly isn't what the article indicates.

So Kate’s National Review article is accurate.

No. As I said originally, Ms. O'Beirne is disingenous with her selective quotations and calling Reagan "a convert." Reagan was always pro-life; there was no "conversion". Ms. O'Beirne falsely tries to paint that he was pro-choice or even pro-abortion. He was not, as his more extensive quotes demonstrate.

Look at the photos, Rooty has a parade-style tour going on where he rides on a firetruck.

P.S. Perhaps you should read Reagan's own words. Here are some from Reagan: A Life In Letters -- Read pages 197-198.

October 11, 1979, Letter to Mr. Robert L. Mauro:

Dear Mr. Mauro:

I hope you won't mind my writing you about a recent column of yours suggesting that I might be preparing to abandon my anti-abortion position and that I signed a permissive abortion bill while I was governor. I think there are things I should make plain here.

First, my position is that interrupting a pregnancy means the taking of a human life. In our Judeo-Christian tradition, that can only be done in self-defense. Therefore, I will agree to an abortion only to protect the life of the prospective mother.

Now, with regard to the permissive bill I supposedly signed, let me give you the correct history of what took place early in my term as governor. A bill was introduced that was permissive, indeed abortion on demand. Naturally, there was great controversy about this bill. The author finally sent word that he would amend his bill to anything the governor thought he could sign. Faced with this responsibility, I probably did more study and more soul searching on the subject than I had done on anything in my eight years as governor. I came to the conclusion, as I have already stated, that it could only be justified to save a human life. . . . Perhaps it was my inexperience in government, but like so many pieces of legislation, there were loopholes that I had not seen, and the thing that made the California abortion bill become somewhat permissive in nature was violation of the spirit of the legislation by the very groups who were supposed to police it. This was particularly true in the case of psychiatrists. If faced with the same problem today, I can assure you I would make sure there were no loopholes in the bill. Indeed, I have already written Congressman Hyde telling him of my support for his amendment.

Again, please rest assured there is no way I could or would change my position with regard to my opposition to the permissive abortion that is taking place throughout our land.

Sincerely,
Ronald Reagan

It would appear that Mr. JimRob is cleaning house.

He got rid of about half of the ones that needed booting(JMHO)here but hey, it’s a good start nonetheless.
