Lol no. :)

I did used to do ‘Bikram Yoga’ though, and have never felt better than I did after a class.

Bikram is not popular with the hippie yoga set.

I think Aristide should be summarily executed but I am what you would wrongly describe as a "neocon." You, on the other hand, support paleoPaulie, the surrendermonkey sockpuppet of the radical Islamofascisti.

On that scale, you would be a paleowhatever just like Dr. Demento. Hence, in the paleofantasy world, don't you have to be a Wilsonian, globalist, internationalist tool of the United Nations, and of the international bankers' conspiracy, the Bilderbergers, the Tri-Lateral Commission and the Bavarian Illuminati to give a rat's patoot about human rights in other countries rather than eagerly joining their murderous dictators around the campfire singing Kumbaya to celebrate the latest deals for trade almighty????

You’re not funny and your "serious" comments only show you’re a fool. Go vote for Run Paul, smoke dope, and waste no one’s time here anymore.

You think Aristide should be executed? Good for you. I assume from this fact that you are also using some of your purple prose (you do have a talent there) against Fred....aren’t you?

Sorry, I don’t monitor every comment made by every political candidate on a daily basis, my time is limited.

I would suggest that you take up your issues with Mr McCain himself.
I didn’t have North Vietnamese captors torturing me, so I am not qualified to judge any comments Mr McCain may or may not have made about them.

Cap’n: Ugo Chavez and Fidel Castro and Aristide are all toxically antiAmerican and therefore gods to paleoPaulie, treasonous weasel extraordinaire.

Do you have quotes to back that up?

He’s against the Cuban embargo. He thinks that letting Cubans meet actual Americans would be a good thing. It will let them know the things they hear about us are lies.

I’m not 100% convinced, but we do trade with China (most favored nation status) and Vietnam (same, if I recall correctly)

We don’t trade with Cuba to pander to some voters in Florida, best I can tell.

Lemme think about that. Hmmmmmm. Nah, I'll stick around, at least until Happy Hour. Appreciate the suggestion, though.

Janet Reno took “full responsibility” for a variety of innocent deaths but I don’t remember the old witch being strapped into Old Sparky which would be really taking “full responsibility.”

How does an Austrian Economist support Social Security?

I am seriously asking.

Your rolling today with that purple prose! Love it! Now....the question was whether you plan to use it against Fred because of (still unexplained an unrecanted) his support for Aristide?

How does an Austrian Economist support Social Security?

One couldn't. There are several factors in the pure Austrian Economic school that fly in the face of the entire principle of Social Security. First, of course, is the individualist principle of the Austrian school. Basically, there would be little or no regulatory involvement with your personal economic issue. This is the good part of the Austrian school, albeit, they take it a little far by their statements that single form currency itself is an artificial construct.

Second, the Austrian school rejects any sort of metrics and statistical based analysis because of the belief that human nature is too dynamic, and thusly, cannot be calculated. They reject past history as a valid use of future calculations. This challenges the social security concept because one cannot predict the needs or economic growth rate of the individual in xx number of years. (praxeology)

In a nutshell, under the Austrian Economic school of thought, social security would not exist because it is not any institution's responsibility and secondly, because one cannot predict the needs of the individual when he is ready to cash out (if he survives that long.)

It is a lot more complex, but that is the simplest way to address it here.

PaleoPaulie is a treasonous weasel in time if war. McCain was a war hero. That distinction is a very important one. Whatever McCain's drawbacks, no one but no one can take away from him his track record of suffering for our country in the Hanoi Hilton.

PaleoPaulie will NEVER remove the stench of his antiwar, antiAmerican response to the Islamofascisti and his attempt to meld opposition to war, opposition to the military, opposition to our nation in time of war, enthusiasm for drug-dealing and drug abuse being tolerated, enthusiasm for avoiding central government solutions to protect marriage and to put an END to abortion together while dishonestly calling himself either Republican or conservative or patriotic. PaleoPaulie is an absolute disgrace. The purging of Dr. Demento and those lending him aid and comfort is necessary to the 2008 election process and to the rebuilding of the GOP and of the conservative movement.
