The movie was directed by a guy named Jake Rademacher, whose brothers Isaac and Joe are in the 82nd Airborne. Jake accompanied them to Mosul, interviewed them and others in their units, went out on patrol, etc.
The film is just now reaching the public - no distributor yet - Gary Sinise and Jon Voight hosted the screening I attended last night. I hope a distributor picks it up - always questionable in lockstep-leftist Hollywood...
Cool! Thanks! It is colder than heck here in Japan this morning, too, so maybe we are going to get some of what you got over there west of us.
Sorry about all the deleted posts. I asked the mods to remove them after I realized that posting troop and MOS emplacements or even referring to them was a bad idea.
Good that you policed your butts :)
It didn’t stick of course. The snow that fell here in Fairbanks in Oct is still on the ground and will be still on the ground in April and in shaded spots still on the ground in June.
White snow is PURITY!! Sign from GOD!
Thanks for your service and the pics!! Godspeed.
