I had the best fantasy dream last night about fishing with KV and we were pulling up huge OceanPerch.
That wasn’t a dream. You need to go look in your back seat. Good luck getting that smell out.
I saw that there was a few quakes this last week.
I am a daily (multi) quake watcher hobbiest.
We had a 6.2 offshore here this week but far enough and deep enough that it was not felt.
Notice Queen Charlotte Is BC has been getting some big ones the last few weeks.
Then Alaska that is ALWAYS shakings.
Interesting stuff ....earth stuff.
You have my envy.
I remember an article about a neighborhood in FL where folks could walk out of their homes and across a street onto their private docks. Then take their boats through a small channel and go straight out into the ocean.
FL is just too far from our 2 kids and grandchildren, so it will just remain a fantasy.
BUT, we do fine...even with the rain.
One of my fave movies....Grumpy Old Men. : )
My brother moved from Vancouver to Mobile, AL and I told him he’d have to worry about tornadoes back there. He’ll really be surprised by this one.
Big news isn’t the word for it. It touched down where I work and took some of the roof off over the showroom. I was home for lunch when it hit and other than the hail, rain and wind, didn’t even know it was a tornado.
I drove back to work, a little over a mile driving the back long way there, just in time to be told we had been evacuated due to a gas leak.
The last tornado to hit here was 1972.
Much of the destruction to trees and shrubbery is already cleaned up.
Say WA? Evergreen State ping
FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off this ping list.
Ping sionnsar if you see a Washington state related thread.
Relative calm in Sedro Woolley, nothing more than small branches litering the yard, roof & deck. Last week was pretty noisy, but that was about it.
