I guess that I am a bit old-fashioned in insisting that personal correspondence be handwritten. Business letters are done on the computer but personal letters and cards should reflect a personal touch. I never use e-mail except for notes or information requiring immediate attention.
Everything that leaves my office must be suitable for framing. I can write in 20 different hands (styles) and every one is perfect in form and function. I don't know where it came from, it just developed over the years.
I'm a believer in correspondence cards. They are the 4X6 quality cards that are adaptable for any situation. They command attention and show a genuine respect for the addressee. They are a bit expensive but are quick to prepare and they leave a lasting impression. A few minutes a day and you can maintain and cultivate friendships that last for years.

That is truly wonderful. I think you would make a great teacher. Somebody needs to teach children & some adults how to write a letter. Maybe you ought to start an online business & teach it. I am teaching my 8 yr old daughter how important it is to send thank you notes.
She has been doing it since she was able to write. Her elderly great Aunts enjoy them. My oldest daughter has beautiful handwriting. I don’t but maybe you have inspired me to pick it up again! Thanks! ~Pandora~

Can we kindly get back to the issue of Illegal Immigration, and John McCain, please, on this thread that I started, and not have it hijacked into other issues? There is always Freepmail for those other great things, OK? Thanks.

Sure..I can’t stand McCain& I want the borders closed down. I don’t believe in anchor babies or amnesty either. If you NOTED..I asked MM to please post links if he had to be rude about TigersEyes’s links. I want to see what MM has to say as I happen to enjoy reading TigersEye’s links. Excuse me...~Pandora~

Forget about Hillary and McCain. The pro-amnesty crowd shouldn’t give up on GWB just yet.

LOL Without you, me and MARTIAL MONK this thread would be deader than an Egyptian mummy.
