Too bad Mark Warner’s middle name is not “Felix” :-)

This is not as bad as I had expected, though it ought to be closer, given Gillmore’s name I.D.

That’s not as bad as I expected either. But I don’t have a very good feeling about next year.
To: Clintonfatigued
That’s bad enough, and probably ultimately means at this point a 55-45% win for Mark Warner. It’s unimaginable 3 leftist rodents in all the big offices from VA. Hopefully AG Bob McDonnell will be able to snatch back the Governorship in ‘09 now with Allen out. With “President O’bama”, he might very well do it.

Let me place bets now. Warner is a guaranteed loser.

“With President Obama “
Not necessarily. His showing in New Hampshire tonight is a dissapointment to he and his supporters. At best, he’ll only get a narrow victory. Indeed, in contrast to previous Presidential elections, the NH primary this year resolved nothing, only further muddling the outlook in both parties.

Well, I hope you’re right, but draw me a scenario for that to happen at this point (especially with the possibility of a disastrous RINO at the top of the ticket for President).

Let's see ~ a RINO ~ Giuliani?
That's about it ~ all the rest of those guys are pretty much in line with traditional Republicanism.
Except Ron Paul ~ now he's a RINO ~ more like an old fashioned Theodore Bilbo type Democrat.

No, Rudy McRombee, 4 walking disaster-area RINO liberals. We fail to nominate a Conservative, Fred Thompson, and we’re going to have a disaster from the top of the ticket on down.

You already heard from the majority of Conservative voters that they are not satisfied with Thompson's lack of regular church attendance.

Are we electing a President or Pastor-in-chief ? I want a President who actually is Conservative and not one who piously proclaims to be a good church-going Christian while undermining Conservative values and the GOP.

BTW, I didn’t catch how you think Jim Gilmore is going to suddenly overtake Mark Warner.

Hard to say who you want then.
Point I made was that you have to have the Social Conservatives (aka "religious right") with you or you cannot win as a Republican. They are the majority of Republican voters.

The weather was nice today and Hillary’s base of support, elderly women, showed up. You have a blizzard on Super Tuesday and Hillary is gone!

Mark is his own worst enemy. He let those kids get murdered at Virginia Tech and immediately moved to protect the school administators from any of the blame.
Let's just say he is vulerable.
Gilmore should start peddling the "cut taxes" business again.

If we’re electing a president on the basis of regular church attendance, then this country is in major trouble.
