When jmc813 is not forcefully defending Fred Thompson on FR, he works to correct grammar here. Too bad he doesn't know about the spell check however. It's just annoying that I can't get an intelligent debate about Ron Paul anywhere. There are a few good people on both sides of these threads, but the majority of posters are borderline writing-illiterate. Note I don't place you personally in that category.

"No matter what Ron Brown was ( I think that was a fairly accurate description) he didnt deserve to be murdered by Clintonistas." Deserves repeating!
Not because I believe it, but because I love highlighting the lunacy that is the Ron Paul cult.

That’s true, but I think any candidate who is not part of the establishment is going to attract those types. I seem to recall that there were a lot of nuts supporting Perot, too.

So basically you were lying when you repeated over and over that you did not think Paul was a racist or anti-semite. No, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, and have noted that the answer was likely in his newsletters, which he refused to release. I don't see anything to indicate he's an antisemite here, but he's a racist through and through, which explains his ties to the hate community which yes, includes antisemites.
You're defending the worst of hate on the right.

He begins to remind me of George Wallace, athough his style is very different. Funny, wouldn’t it, if he became a signfificant force in this election?

For what reasons? Do you have any? Or is it some emotional, personal issue you would rather not discuss but you are more comfortable with slander and libel. He ain’t going to win, now go grow up.

Well, its not like Paul was the number one pick of the black caucus to start with....
He is more of the “Dale Gribble - closet leftist - tinfoil hat” caucus crowd.

"Why do you think the pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-illegal immigration, pro gun control, and pro-Clinton and Gore New Republic took time out of its busy day to attack Ron Paul?" Maybe because the writer of the article, Jamie Kirchick is a closet LCR member and supports Rudy Guilliani, saying he is the "most pro-gay republican to run for the WH.".

Dale Gribble, I had to google that one.

OK, Im confused now. If the critical items arent really smears and are some sort of legitimate comments, then why does the campaign denounce them as being written by a ghost writer that Paul had no control over? If they are just taken out of context or are just PC police going nuts, shouldnt they be proud of them and use them as an opportunity to educate people about PC issues?Because they're liars.
I didn't write it and didn't know about it worked when one article was at issue back in his Senate campaign.
That he didn't write his own newsletter which he sold for over a decade, that only passes the koolaid drinker test, nothing else.
Imagine John Kerry excusing his flipflops with that wasn't me, the speechwriter said it.
He's a racist, his campaign and supporters simply need to embrace that. Haters vote and send money too.
The GOP needs to throw the garbage out.

"Note I don't place you personally in that category." I have been accurately placed there in the past. Even though I made all A's in my college English classes, the college I went to was in Louisiana. :)

He already has become a significant force in this election. $20m+ raised, pulling 10% in Iowa, quite possibly looking at a 3rd or 4th place finish in New Hampshire, again with 10%+ of the vote, and a campaign whose base supports it with a ferocity that none of the other candidates can come close to matching. I think a lot of the “professional” political class need to take some notes on what Paul’s done here...not so much on his political stands, but on his campaign and how it was executed, both the good and the bad.

Now I can put you in the category of dishonest too. I do not bitch on a daily basis that Paulnuts are allowed to post here. Get it straight. I know facts are not your strong suit. Though your arrogance stands out in trying to highlight your inflated superior intellect, self praise of your silky pony good looks, I think dishonesty is becoming your strongest negative trait.

Sounds like someone decided it was time to pull the rug out from under Uncle Ronnie. With Hillary struggling, perhaps a "Plan B" is being devised. One that doesn't include a Ron Paul Third Party candidacy.

Incidentally, it should be pointed out that the author of this piece, although he does not disclose it, is a Giuliani supporter. He apparently supports Giuliani because of Giuliani’s position on gay rights.
