Hillary is just too “mechanical”... my fridge has more personality than her at this point... seeing her on TV this morning made me cringe a bit — she had a smile in her face but it looked completely forced... I mean, she must be going ‘ape’ by now... just 3 days ago, a staffer from Hillary’s campaign blackberried Major Garrett of FNC that Hillary will win NH ‘hands down’, but who could have forseen this turn of the past 2 days? Unreal...

Sounds like the Clinton machines strategy to create a second coming of the Comeback Kid.
The Clinton machine amplifies "bad" news so that when the real story comes out, it is not as bad as was reported.
I fell for that tactic the first time I came across it (I think it was the story on how Bill got angry at his deposition and stormed out leaving everyone stunned. Of course that is not what happened, but the story was no longer about what he said but that it was reported wrong).
I doubt Hillary has spent all these years getting ready to run only to fold after the first few primaries.

How can this be true?
She was the leading Democrat fund-raiser.

Oh so sweet Schadenfreude. And how. Still, let's not be lulled into false complacency; the dirty tricks have yet to begin.

I wonder if the Clintons are going to blame the ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ for her drop in the NH polls...

Rush is playing clips of Mrs. Clinton almost bawling on the trail...all choked up after a town hall question on who does her hair. "I have so many opportunities from this country...(sniff) I just don't want to see us fall backwards...I see what's happening...some people think elections (sniff) are a game (sniff)...
RUSH: This is the reenactment of the Rick Lazio moment. Should a man get away with bringing Mrs. Clinton to tears??? Calculated emotional blackmail, folks!

She is already trying mud slinging, but it sounds just a little too b*tchy. It’s difficult to say how she should handle this, but I can just see it isn’t looking good. It’s about perception and as of today the perception is that Obama is whipping her soundly.
She truly thought she had it sewn up... she underestimated the Dims and Obama. Anything she says now sounds like catch up. She has nothing new and she surely doesn’t have the charming personality. I don’t think many are going to take her seriously after this.

Oh my. I saw it. I just don’t see that helping her at all. That was just awful.

But don't think there isn't a possibility that Obama will go too far, putting down Hillary.
Obama came dangerously close to doing just that in the last Dem debate in NH (the one with Charlie Gibson).
It happened just after Hillary answered the "likability" question from Gibson, saying "That hurts my feelings...I don't think I'm so bad!"
Obama responded, "You're likable...enough, Hillary," uttering that line with such condescension, it made me think of junior high school kids: Mr. Popularity deigning to show the slightest attention to an ugly girl.
Obama is already starting to act too cocky, IMO, and he could blow it if he keeps overplaying his hand that way.
