Obama's message of "hope" is absolutely insane. Hope is a completely passive thing - taking a chance on something happening without your involvement. Action to improve your condition is infinitely more powerful than hope, since hope equals approximately zero or the odds of winning the powerball lottery.

Telling people that "hope" is their best strategy is essentially telling them to leave their future entirely up to others. That's about as un-American as you can get. That's consistent with this weasel refusing to wear an American flag pin and refusing to respect the Pledge of Allegiance.

Let's just say that if this freak gets the Democrat nomination any Republican with some integrity and guts can destroy this guy in no time at all.

Obama's finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don't even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by, and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence, and your role in it.

Huh? The guy is an oily scumbag....

Okay, I admit Hussein's voice has a mature timbre to it - - probably the result of his cigarette habit - - but in his words I hear nothing but slick nothings, as if my eyes have glazed over and history has stopped flowing passively by and instead enmeshed me in a confused boredom somewhere between sleep and a sinus headache.

Ah well - - they said Hitler was a good orator, too. Whatever.
