If you were in YAF in 1963, you were not Paulistinian stick your head in the sand ostrichlike Neville Chamberlain wannabes known as “paleo””whatevers” either.

I respected Goldwater until he began a lengthy career of stabbing Reagan in the back and I then discovered that he and first wife Peggy were up to their eyeballs in Planned Barrenhood, and that he bragged about taking his daughter Susan to an abortion mill to kill his grandchild and that anyone who didn't like that could kiss his donkey or whatever, and that he was also an enthusiast in backing the homosexual perversions of a descendant or two.

All of this helped to mark the distinction between libertarian and conservative and I am decidedly conservative. Goldwater, decidedly a libertarian, in calling himself conservative, was clearly a fraud not unlike paleoPaulie aka Dr. Demento. Goldwater was such a tool that he actually cut an advertisement for Feckless Ford in the 1976 California GOP presidential primary actually warning the GOP that it ought not want Reagan's finger near the nuclear trigger.

If you still like the memory of Goldwater, then be my guest. You are welcome to him.

none of this was on the horizon in 1963-i was turned off later on by his bizarre change on issues such as abortion and homosexual agendas-i wound up liking reagan a great deal, and forget ron paul-he lives in a make believe world in some respects-this go-around i supported tom tancredo or duncan hunter-either one represented my views, but look what happened to their candidacies-tancredo was smeared by the media as a xenophobe and hunter was ignored
