Confident he will lose his third try ?
Why is Keyes running for President again? He joined in the race at the last minute.
All the fame he got from “Borat”, he decided to run again.
I’ve always respected him for being the only one brave enough to slam dance and crowd surf for Michael Moore’s show “The Awful Truth”.
Keyes is a great man! I voted for him in the primary back in 2000.... I think Duncan Hunter is the better leader though...
Anyone who cares to do their due diligence as a sovereign citizen as we begin the electoral process tomorrow can click on my screenname for access to substantial materials concerning the candidate I support, Dr. Alan Keyes.
The pdf is two megs, but it’s well worth reading for those whose decision-making is guided by more than thirty-second ads, lying media distortions and liberal spin.

I’ve been in the trenches of the culture war for the last decade, in my own small way trying to protect and defend the America we all love. And every time I’ve looked around to see who else is on the field, Alan Keyes has been there, using his incredible gifts in the service of restoring and defending America.
I can’t recall ever seeing Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, or Mitt Romney at our side. In fact, often, I’ve found these men fighting on the other side in these critical battles.
I’m looking for leaders who have the political scars to prove their commitment to the cause of restoring and protecting our way of life. I want to know who best understands our national creed, and which man has the God-given gifts, selflessly offered in service to our nation.
Alan Keyes is the only candidate for President in 2008 who meets my criteria:
He has the foreign policy and national security experience that will greatly strengthen our ability to deal with terrorism and other threats, from day one.
He has taken a consistent stance with respect to the defense of constitutional integrity and individual liberty, economic freedom, and the need to abolish the income tax, as well as opposition to sell out free trade agreements and treaties.
He has a proven record of consistent support for the security of our borders, adherence to the rule of law, and the need to strongly assert and defend our national sovereignty.
He courageously speaks to the fateful constitutional questions of judicial tyranny, judicial supremacy, and the balance of powers between our branches of government.
Alan Keyes is exactly the kind of leader a free, independent, moral, sovereign people need in this time of great crisis for our republic. He’s the only candidate with the proven ability to understand and argue effectively for all the conservative positions while bringing them together in a clear, consistent vision for America as a whole.
He worked for Ronald Reagan in the victorious effort to defeat the Soviet Union, specializing in the fight against state-sponsored terrorism, battling UN bureaucrats every step of the way. As a diplomat and a member of the Reagan national security team, he represented his country with principle, courage and great vigor. This is a man of vast experience and great capacities.
In these dangerous times, his governmental and foreign policy experience, along with his depth of understanding of our form of republican government, is sorely needed. More than anyone, Alan understands what must be done if we are to survive as a free people, and if our children and grandchildren are to enjoy the blessings of liberty.
The deeply rooted statesmanship of Alan Keyes is truly unparalleled in our generation.
Don’t make the mistake of writing off Alan Keyes as being nothing more than “articulate” or “a great speaker.” Think about the sources of the powerful truths about America and her crisis of which he speaks, because such power can only come from a life of deep thought and commitment. As Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”
Let’s do what the Democrat media and the political elites think can’t be done: elect a true conservative champion, Alan Keyes, as our next president.
He saw all the attention that doofus candidates like Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee were getting and figured "why not me?" After all, Keyes has an IQ more than those two combined.
Is that single digits to the left-hand side or the right-hand side of the decimal?
Alan entered September 14th, the same week as Fred Thompson.
Ronald Reagan didn’t enter until November 1979, and Kennedy didn’t announce until January of 1960.
We’re just getting started.
Maybe he's shooting for a VP slot, or a cabinet member slot. I've voted for Keyes in primaries before... Personally, he aligns more conservative than a lot of the republican candidates. Gotta start somewhere. *shrug*
Unfortunately for Keyes, Reagan and Kennedy got in at those late dates back in the days when the primary season didn't start on 3 Jan.
Because running for office is what he does for a living. I don't think he has any other job.
Keyes is confidant in 3rd Whitehouse bid.
And I’m confident I’ll win the CA lottery this year. And we both have about the same odds-26 million to one.
Why not someone who has actually demonstrated some capacity in elective office below the rank of President. Making the Presidency your first elective office is like graduating from medical school and immediately doing heart transplants. Just breathtaking arrogance.
Give us an update tomorrow night as to his support in Iowa.

True. But, this schedule is going to have a number of unintended consequences that few have foreseen.
