Because it was an uncalled-for cheap shot and added nothing to the discussion. She’s a woman in her 60’s, not some streetwalker.
If you don’t like the way she voted, chastise her on that basis. Not by making nasty comments about her on a personal level.

I’ll be emailing her myself on this issue of the fence.

The way I read it, it was a freakin' voice vote! Can you believe that? I wouldn't think they'd have records of that, would they? If not, that's even more underhanded.

Here's the link I checked. Of course this vote was done in July so I guess that marks me as someone with my head up my arse for it taking a FR post to bring this to my attention.

And that is exactly my point. Kay Bailey is not perfect, but giving more local control to where the fence goes up is not a bad thing. I think she is attempting to make sure that property and river access is included in the equation.
