We already did. Some Northern “A$$holes” forced us back in at bayonet point......
Call her what you want, if you LIVE in Texas. I don’t consider her anything more than a good Senator.
I suggest you mind your business. The Sovereign State of Texas will deal with the problem.
If you were a rancher, you would understand. I want the illegals stopped as bad as you do, but not at the expense of my own people. There is a way to compromise and make everybody happy.
I’d like to hear just exactly how her amendment accomplishes that AND makes sure the fence gets funded and built.
According to her, it gives state & local control to decide exactly WHERE the fence is built. It will also provide options for access, etc. She assured me that the fence will still be built, and that she supports the idea.
Apparently that was a mistake on their part. I now many people in Texas who do bot call her a “good Senator”.
Considering that she has been elected by an overwhelming majority, everytime she runs, I would say quite a few Texans think she is a “good Senator”....
Now that being said, do I think she is perfect? NO.
Do I agree with every decision or action she has made? NO.
Do I think she might have handled this one differently? YES.
I know that her motives were pure, and that was serving the people of our great state, and she has done that admirably.
What good is an interspersed fence? The ranchers and farmers surely already have water wells for their own use and may have to either dig more or make small lakes like other people in Texas.
Perhaps some form of piping water from the river may be devised. I don't know all the laws and rules in each county.
A fence is a fence unless it's not..
Friend:
You live in Texas. You know as well as I, that Texans are fed up with illegals! That fence will get built. It will be done OUR way, and not the Fed way, but it will be built.
Yes, I am very familiar with the border area and hope something will be done to keep the illegals out.
