Yes, apparently we have some HUGE storms heading our way. We can sure use the rain, but too much at one time is going to be a problem.

Mama Bear, the way these storms are being hyped, it sure is good for business at the supermarket!! Hyped is right! You'd think we were in for storms and floods of biblical proportions. Nine times out of ten, the predictions are greatly exaggerated. We need the rain, but I am hoping, for those in flood and mudslide areas, that is the case this time also.

Heard weatherman on Sacramento station (KCRA3) last night saying we’re in for 2-3 inches of rain in the upper valley and 4 - 5 ft snow in the Sierras.
Daughter and sil are headed for a racing banquet/party in Reno Sat night.
Guess I’ll be sleepless in Modesto with worry. :)

Daughter and sil are headed for a racing banquet/party in Reno Sat night. Guess I’ll be sleepless in Modesto with worry. :) I am sure they will be fine, especially if they are prepared to encounter winter weather conditions.....but "worry" is what dads and moms do. I've found no way around it.

Some years, I get the after holiday blues.
What a fun Christmas you all had! You must love having Emma with you! A lot of cooking for you too. :) We meet up at my parents and we all cook the dinner for them. Most of it we bring already prepared. A nice day it was.
