Don’t get your hopes up; this is a cycle with the left. In the ‘70’s when I was in school these same emissions were supposed to be causing a “new ice age” (some of you may remember the term “nuclear winter”). Now they are causing “global warming”. When we defuse this threat to our freedom they will re-package it again.

However, any “compromise” we make is a 100% victory for them as they have then succeeded in taking away some of our freedom and we will have gotten nothing in return. A case in point is Nixon who gave them the EPA and OSHA. Did we get anything on that “compromise”? And did Nixon buy any good will from creating those two agencies that the left has grown to love? No and No!

We can never let our guard down; these people will not give up until we are all slaves and they are either the slave masters or our fellow slaves under the terrorists!

“2007 marked the beginning of the end of the Great Global Warming Hoax. Let’s make 2008 the year that this concept hits the dust bin of history - along with Algore, Hillary, and statins!”

The Wall Street Journal, in The Science of Gore's Nobel, earlier brought up the relevance of the availability bias to the Global Warming hoax. Daniel Kahneman got a real Nobel Prize for work he and the late Amos Tversky did on systematic biases that people have when estimating probabilities.

Great article; thanks for the ping! We too are experiencing “climate change”, since for the last two days our temp has hovered under 10 degrees. I’m thinking of starting to sell Global Warming mittens and scarves for the environmentally “concerned”. But I’ll bet that by spring, we’ll have warmed up considerably, LOLOLOL!
