I don’t think that the news station was there when Jerry made his anti-Muslim bias show — if you see the digital WMAL clock above, it says 7:15, or something like that, and you can see Plante around the studio too, so I think they went to the station the day after the show started this controversy.
Quite honestly, Joe, his rhetoric is almost comical and so out-in-left-field (literally!) that I almost yearn to hear and listen to his viewpoint on matters because libs like him have their eyes shut to the realities of the world, and moreover, to the realities of terrorism in this day & age.

Actually, having listened to the news bit, I was not completely convinced that the callers were not “plants” - maybe a few of Klien’s liberal buddies - comical or not it creates an opportunity for liberals to repaint talk radio in the caricature that they prefer.
