It sounds then like the Tribal Regions of Pakistan, Guns, limited population, lovely mountain vistas and no compelling reason to exist.
When they disbanded the Green Mountain Boys they left me behind and added a socialist Senator

The title is misleading. After reading the article, a different story emerges:
The “town” isn’t seeking the arrest of Bush and Cheney...just a small group is. And before they can do so, they need to collect 1000 signatures out of the 12,000 people that live there...and then the town needs to vote on the resolution.
In essence, Yahoo news is giving a very small handful of nuts a whole lot of publicity.

Obviously, we must examine the root causes of Brattleburger rage. Somebody has to talk to these people through legitimately ordained leaders such as Mr. Ponytail and the local radio jocks. We should offer foreign aid as an alternative to our imperialistic occupation of Vermont. It’s all for the children, doncha know.

These idiots are so full of themselves, they have no room left to digest any intelligence.

I dont understand that sentence...The Secret Service is unlikely to allow anyone close enough to the President to actually effect an arrest.

The thing about Libs: not only are they unpleasant, ill-informed, completely unrealistic, perpetually needy and wildly paranoid, they're also drama queens about it.Great line! ROTFLMBO!!

The mentality of this town proves it should be flushed like the turd it is. Where in the State Constitution of Vermont does it say it’s citizens can effect the political arrest of the Commander-in-Chief and VPOTUS because they do not like foreign policy?

Do you or did you live in Vermont, or in Wisconsin, as your home page indicates you do?
You have to admit that this is a prime example of moonbattery.
Anyways, welcome to FR.

Why is it that Libs (with the exception of the west coast) seem to be congregated in the winter states? Simple. They can't stand the heat. ;-)

This is the type of lib crap that reminds me to not do any business with any company in Vermont. My wife buys a lot of merchandise from the Vermont Country Store. That ends today. When they send another catalog, I will return and advise why.

"This petition is as radical as the Declaration of Independence, and it draws on that tradition in claiming a universal jurisdiction when governments fail to do what they're supposed to do," said Kurt Daims, 54, a retired machinist leading the drive.Oh please tell me this guy has a gray pony-tail. I can't wait to grow one myself. Too bad I can't retire at 54.
