We can survive nuclear suitcase bomb. BUT,,,we will not survive if the Marxist who infest our government K-12 schools, colleges, and universities succeed in indoctrinating the next generation of voters.<<<

True and I am on the same soapbox as you are, have been yelling it for years.

"The biggest threat to freedom is Marxism! And..our schools are its most important weapon."

One of our greatest oversights and weaknesses was the failure to recognize the leftist strategy to takeover the intuitions of learning and mold the minds of our children to overthrow our way of life. There is a famous quote along these lines about winning through the corruption of the young minds, but I can't think who said it at the moment.

It seems that those with the most power to change this horrible situation are doing the least.

Yes, Sean Hannity or O Reilly will do news reports on the PC nuttiness in the schools, but neither, ( to my knowledge) has ever rightly identified the problem. (Marxism) Rush almost never mentions schools in any form.

The enemy is Marxism, and they are eating the souls of our children.

Our freedom will die in the voting booth.

Both times that I have heard the communist manifesto read on the radio, they were so swamped with calls, that it took more than one day to read it.

When I had my real estate office, years ago now, I had a copy of the shorter version, [-all I knew of at the time] on the rack, with my real estate flyers, it was amazing how few people had ever read it before.

If I could still go out and drive a car, I would be tempted to pass them out and post them on bulletin boards in the markets and?

My family gets upset with me for telling them that everything that is wrong today, is on the manifesto list.........and it is.

People must look the problem in the eye, or they will never have a clue as to what the problem really is all about.

The roots of the muslim terrorism goes back to communism, we are still fighting what is in the manifesto.

There is a good copy of the manifesto here.

Throughout our threads are bits and pieces of history, this post was PLO and the roots of communism in it:

As far as I am concerned, the war on terror, is only an extension of N. Korea and viet Nam.

IMHO, the author has the intellectual capacity slightly higher than a brick.

Genocide is not the immediate alternative to a conflict in wills between two body politics.

Military and statesmen after Napoleon frequently followed a definition of war as von Clausewitz’s definition of war:

“War therefore is an act of violence to compel our opponent to fulfil our will.”

Volition and will are the central focus in warfare, not genocide, not murder, not mass destruction, not capitulation.

In order to understand why there is conflict between Islam and the West one needs to understand what God has provided to have a relationship with Him. Ignoring God will not overpower Islam.

On the other hand, I think his point that Islam does not perceive that it has a “problem” is a valid one. In that case, our attempts to “reform” Islam are fruitless and will only breed animosity. This animosity will just breed more terrorism.

His thought that this will ultimately lead to using nukes is a bit far fetched. IMHO, the Europeans will ultimately revert to old form. Either an Islamic holocaust will result or more likely the Europeans will just become Islamic societies as their will to fight and belief in their culture will have disappeared.

It is going to get bad, real bad.

Two bodies politic are not in conflict here. Two civilizations are. One will dominate; the other will shrivel and adapt to conform to the dominant culture, or perish.

I think you’re right.

Barring a miracle — the mass conversion of Muslims to Christianity — I see no good end to the current struggle.

I have no use for Islam, but in the end I don’t want anybody of any religion or none to die before their natural time.

Let’s pray for a miracle — and keep our gunpowder dry.

I think the second option should be isolation, not genocide.

Sounds good. No one has ever transported a nuclear weapon over a well sealed border...

2. The Answer to the Other

ONCE A SOCIETY BECOMES CONVINCED that it is harboring something within it that is intractably "Other," and that the "Other" clearly and without quarter means to destroy it, that society looks for an answer that preserves it at the expense of the "Other." ...

reminds me of what's going on in Iraq - the Anwar Awakening - and to a lesser extent, although growing, the rejection of the fundamental followers of the 'prophet' in Afghanistan. Islam contains within itself the seeds of its own destruction. Genocide? Not by us!
