Support Thompson [Ottumwa (Iowa) Courier endorses Fred]

Given the weird voting done in caucuses, how many will have thompson as their “second choice.”

IOW how many ballots will be recast differently in the second ballot?

As Republicans, we only get to vote our first choice. I'm hoping I can sway some folks before the vote, but it's the democrats who have levels of "viability' the candidates must reach. If they do not get to a certain percentage, their supporters must fall in with a different candidate, and it's there the second choice comes into play. We used to do it that way but now every vote counts.

I'm taking four Fred votes to the caucus and I hope to convince some others who might not be strong in their support.
