Strong abortion subsidies...strong aversion to truthiness...strong lust for power at any price...

Hard to look down on Mormons when you are one ...

I'm not Mormon. I'm not a bigot either.

Romney is the only Republican that can beat Hillary in the general. The Democrats know that fact

Hogwash on both counts. As if the democrats "know" anything. Sounds to me like you just want it to be so.

his conservative credentials are strong. He understands the scope of the threat we face from Islamist jihadists and is committed to protecting America from them, wants to increase the size of the military by 100,000 troops and increase defense spending to 4 percent of our gross domestic product,

I love this one from Mitt, never says how he will increase the size of the military. Typical of a BS'r

There has not been a single vote cast yet. Further, the Party base(s) are all over the place, so you can’t rule anyone out.

I don’t think we have any idea until February if someone who is in, has a chance or not.

I’m not too worried about any of them, save maybe Huck. We need more conservative Federal judges, the Supremes and a fairly decent guy that doesn’t screw up too much. There are no saints, and I’d be happy with the judges and some roll back on the size, wealth and power of the state. It’s the work of generations, not a sprint.

Mitt Wit is on my ... would NEVER vote for ...

Yep, your stripes are pretty clear. I regret those parentheses in my first post to you. Should have read you a little more clearly in your attempt to smear Mormons by saying they don't serve America.

So he at best is an embellisher at worst a lair.

NEVER had NRA endorsement.

Claimed to be a life long hunter -went twice in his life. I went twice before I was 8 years old.

Went on Russert and made all of the wrong statements about gun control. Clearly on a poor understanding. If you want to run the country you better at least get the nickle briefing on guns.

Flip flop on abortion.

Brought Mass. Hillary style health care.

Claimed the mantle of Reagan - shameless patronizing.

I am not even going to bring up the MLK debacle.

So what is BS there clamper dude?

No person in the history of Presidential elections, ever, has had as high of negatives as Hillary.

You are wrong, my friend. Rasmussen reported yesterday that there are two candidates currently sporting 47% core opposition: Hillary and Willard.

“Mormons serve in disproportionaly larger numbers than the population as whole.”

That gets posted a lot on FR but I have never seen the facts to support it.

This link claims an enlistment rate of 3.6 per thousand for Utah which puts the state itself at 47th, which means that your claim may not be true.

Where are the "no sloganeering!!" police when you need them? 'Strong military, strong economy, strong families' Sounds good, but aren't policies.

Romney told Katie Couric that an Iowa talk show host had used a hidden camera on him, but the camera was in plain view two-to-three feet from his face for the entire twenty minutes he was in the studio.

That talk show host, by the way, has been setting the record straight all week. Jan Mickelson is the biggest thing in Iowa talk radio, apparently, and can be heard virtually state wide. Willard picked the wrong guy to misrepresent.

Other than your dislike of Huckabee I agree.

I think any of the top three will beat who the Rats put up. I think it will be easier to beat Hillary than Husein, but neither of them can claim any history of putting America first. The judges are key. I think we will see two more openings on the SCOTUS, probably Stevens and Ginsberg.

I think Mitt is the best but I still think Rudy has the best chance of whipping Hellary so I hope Rudy gets the GOP nomination.

Goldwater said that abortion was not a conservative issue. As a matter of fact, he thought it was nobody’s business.

Seems like all conservatives care about these days is trying to tell someone how to run their lives.

Goldwater is probably turning over in his grave due to the errant direction the conservatives have gone.

Conservatives (33% of the vote) fiddle while Rome burns. We have $10 Trillion in national debt, $45 Trillion in unfunded SS liabilites. Our nation is basically bankrupt yet all we care about is what church people go do and if they are pro life or not.

Its sad.

John
