I’d rather vote for a humble, ignorant Huck, than a lying, pompous fraud like Mitt.
We have other choices. You DO realize that don’t you?
LOL.
You also believe that Fred is a stalking horse for McCain and probably still await the Easter Bunny and Santa as well...
I'd say you need help, but your posts are so adorably humorous that I would miss them...
But, liars can’t be dealt with. They’re sick. And I especially hate Republican liars.
I can not trust anything Mitt says. Matter of fact, over say a term of 3 or so years, he’s never been political consistent about anything save being President which in and of itself is suspect.
If you want to go with a snake on a slippery rock, more power to you.
You have my answer.
That’s the creation of pepperhead, and I think it is very funny.
The kind that lies about his father and himself....
Common FR courtesy requires you to ping those you reference by name. It’s an unwritten rule.
Yeah, Joan Vennochi. Real credible. /s
Folks take the time to Google her and read the type of op-eds she usually writes.
Below are a few other articles written by Joan Venocchi. She’s obviously a liberal with an ax to grind. Why anyone at FR would use an article written by a liberal is beyond me.
Joan Venocchi articles:
Bush clings to a lost cause in Iraq

(Howard) Dean isn’t the problem

Abortion’s changing landscape

(This one is a pro-choice article cited by NARAL)
Are you interested in refuting the allegations made in the article? Or are you just going to scream "smear" and hope it sticks?
Why thank you. ;)
Smear articles?... This IS politics, sunny. If this man Romney gets the nomination, the Republican party will lose in Nov’08 and lose bigtime, as in lose even the veto power of the Senate with the votes to cut off filibustering. Why? Because if Romney succeeds in fooling enough Republican primary voters, the revelations about him and his religion will reduce the turnout of Christian Conservative voters enough to sweep aside conservatism. Stopping him NOW is what this is all about for many. You accomplish that by exposing him for his dissemblings and false claims and liberal history in liberal Massachusetts. Playing ‘shut up and take it’ isn’t what primaries are about anymore, as the Mormon campaign to sow doubt regarding Fred Thompson’s medical condition and such has proved!
This is a rather stupid, ridiculous article.
Boston Globe says Romney’s mother is not pro-choice.
Romney produces a proof or some statement explaining his mother’s pro-choice position which is not exactly a 100% NOW pro-choice position.
Now then the article deviates and attacks him for changing his mind since 2002 election, what a stupid post and a article.
What a coincidence! Willard was once a pro-choice politician appreciated by NARAL.
Some people want Free Republic to be a conservative version of DU.
Only the best for us....
However, I've lived in MA since 2000 (leaving soon) and I've seen Mitt in action.
I don't have an ax to grind. But what he did to Kerry Healy disappointed me... as well as him going off on his presidential race instead of fully completing his term as governor (100 days at work ??? nah) Who do you think was doing his job --> Kerry --> and he kicked her to the curb.
You’re pointing to an article written by a pro-choice liberal at the Globe to prove that Mitt lied?
Wake up! The libs are scared to death of Romney as proven by one smear article after another against the man. And re-posting these article are only furthering their cause.
My suggestion would be to look at the agenda of the author before reposting the articles.
I agree, and as much as I've tried to like Mitt, I just can't get my arms around him when I've watched him during the debates. It seems like he's always trying to play to all the various niches in the GOP, and it leaves me feeling he is wishy washy.
For comparison purposes only (I'm not touting him) Guiliani is the exact opposite. At least I know where he stands, even if I don't agree with it, which actaully makes me feel better in that there won't be any surprises. With Mitt, it's hard to tell.
