I don't see how this endorsement helps McCain. The pro-war vote is going to be carved up among the GOP candidates not named Paul anyway, & the majority of these voters aren't going to vote for McCain. They're going to go to Fred or Rudy.
The only thing this endorsement does is remind the GOP base how much time in bed McCain has spent with the Democrats. Because despite his pro-war stance, Lieberman is still a socialist.

No way, the GOP is not interested in McCain/Liberman - a RINO and a sort of RINO.

Mock it all you want, but I guarantee if you polled a McCain/Lieberman ticket vs any combination or Rs or Ds it would win the national election by a landslide. Had Lieberman been the Presidential candidate instead of the VP on the ticket in 2000, Bush would not have became president. I still say keep an eye on McCain, hes the dark horse on the R side, and if the top tier stumble, hell be the one who gains from it.
