"Our purpose in the military is not social engineering," he stressed. "It's about fighting and winning the nation's wars." This says it all. There really is nothing else to consider.

"""Discharges of gay soldiers have dropped dramatically since the Afghan and Iraq wars began, from 1,200 a year in 2001 to 600 now. Probably less servicemen admitting to being gay, consistent with double the reenlistment rates. Probably also fewer left leaning gays joining during a war vilified by Democrats.
FWIW, I respect any person calling for open homosexuals in the military as long as they invite me to shower in the gym with their hot teenage daughters (18-19 y/o's of course).

CBS fights for gays. Anyone surprised? They did a hit piece on Gennifer Flowers for the Clintons - they backed Dan Rather putting out lies on President Bush. Why anyone wouild care what these corrupt one-sided shills say is beyond me.

Exactly. Rush said it perfectly a long time ago, a military’s purpose is “killing people and breaking things”.
A few years ago, I knew a TV producer who was skeptical of DADT. Then he worked on a show where they did some filming on an aircraft carrier. He came back absolutely convinced that something like it was necessary.

This story sickened me...those pictures were DISGUSTING...the lesbian was horrible. The left wants to break down EVERY MORAL STRAND we have.
What man wants a GAY guy sleeping 8 inches from him??? Women also don't want a lesbian sleeping that close, showering with them....it's really troubling.

Discharges of gay soldiers have dropped dramatically since the Afghan and Iraq wars began, from 1,200 a year in 2001 to 600 now So the policy is working?
Sodomites finally getting the message?

When it comes to the CBS network, my “Don’t Watch” policy has been extremely effective.

In his letter to gay activists, you can see that Romney actually wants to drop DADT by removing all restrictions on homosexuals in the military, it is his stated goal. ============================================================

“Disgusting.....but I think hes changed on that.”
No he hasn’t, if you watched the debate you saw Cooper Anderson repeatedly trying to see if he would disavow this position, but Romney never did. Romney only muttered something about this is not the time to discuss it, and he turned the exchange into appearing to be about don’t ask don’t tell, which is not what Cooper was asking.
COOPER: “Governor Romney, you said in 1994 that you looked forward to the day when gays and lesbians could serve, and I quote, “openly and honestly in our nation’s military.” Do you stand by that?”

Yes, we do. See tagline...
I know, I know... he doesn’t stand a chance... why? Because people won’t support him. He deserves the support of conservatives through the primaries. If he doesn’t make it beyond that, THEN go for the lesser-of-two evils.

I like Duncan but he needs to run for Governor FIRST....no experience in running anything but a committee and an office.
