I understand how the primary system plays out. And Bill is playing "Bad Cop" for Hillary right now. Hillary's problem is that she has a hard time coming off as "Good Cop" for the masses. This negates how well "Bad Cop" plays for her. The difference is hard to see.

And Elizabeth Edwards has been "Bad Cop" for Breck Girl in the primary season.

The hammer isn’t visible on the single action on the right side of the picture. That means the cylinder has already rotated, the hammer is back and revolver is ready to fire by simply pulling the trigger.

The Navy Colt with the Richard’s Conversion doesn’t have the hammer back. It’s not ready to be fired.

I’m really surprised they are making the Navy’s with the conversions. Cowboy Action Shooting must have made them popular.

Oops. Damn Typos!

I can just see it, after Hillary! is rudely dismissed from the Democrat Primaries, some knee-pad wearing member of the media will be interviewing Bill, and will note that, when you get right down to it, his winning streak is still intact, because it would be unfair to attribute Hillary!'s loss to him.

And old Bubba will look surprised and say, "You know, Ah never thought of it that way, but Ah guess you are right!"

This is the way they're doing it.....and it will work, wait and see.

I understand your concern. I don't know how Bill Clinton has managed to wiggle away as many times as he has. So it would be unwise to dance prematurely on his political grave.

That said, I think there is a particular dynamic with Bill Clinton as Bad Cop and Hillary! as Good Cop than can be expoited, here.

First of all, Hillary! is not, and never can be, believable as Good Cop. She has been an attack dog too many times for people to forget her vicious streak. One thing you learn on TV is that once a Bad Cop, always a Bad Cop. Her icy demeanor does nothing to change this.

Secondly, Bill is effective when he is the lovable rogue. If he gets out-and-out nasty, this will not appeal to people. The Democrats want a philanderer, not a wife-beater. Bill Clinton in attack mode surrenders his one great advantage, which is his aw shucks country boy charm. It doesn't work on me, but that does not mean it doesn't work.

I think there is plenty of vulnerability for a smart campaign to exploit, and so far the Obama camp seems to be playing it pretty smart.

Speaking yesterday in Waterloo, Iowa, Obama responded to questions about Bill Clinton's comments by saying the nation was tired of politics being played as a "blood sport."

"I understand that there's a history of politics being all about slash and burn, taking folks down, what I recall the Clintons themselves calling the politics of personal destruction," he said.

Obama is right people are sick of the blood sport....if someone taps this voting bloc they will win.

Dog, I agree with you. I can’t tell you how many people I know who are sick of politics because of the constant attacks.

Obama may be on to something. And that is why I don’t favor “attack dog” behavior from any of our guys. Not saying I don’t want them to stand up for themselves, but rather to do it in a civil way.
