What sort of audience is this garbage written? Do muslems think this contorted? The muslems want us disarmed so they can come in and take this country over. The author is addressing how they'd expect us to live after taking over.

BTW, thanks for the post; I copied my rabbi.
He's a good liberal, but I'll make a charter member of JFPO out of him yet. :-)

Good morning.
This supports my contention that we are at war with Islam, not radical Islam, but Islam, and it is more dangerous than any threat we have ever faced.
Buy ammo and make friends with your neighbors.

The obligation of the "moderate Muslims" is to distinguish themselves from the jihadists, and they hadn't. Had they, they have things like the comment below to rely on.
The Pakistani scholar Ahsan Islahi (1906-1997) argued that this verse applies only to belligerent Jews and Christians who are already under Islamic rule, and does not require offensive war against Christian or Jews in non-Muslim states. He also argues that the verses requiring offensive war against idolaters applied only to the polytheistic tribes in Arabia at the time of Muhammad.
But they don't. And Ahsan Islahi was a founder of Jamaat al Islami, though he separated from them later. So much for moderation.

Our founders had a pretty firm grasp on what was essential to the maintenance of a free republic. I pray we arent hoodwinked by these charlatans who would tell us otherwise. Excellent conclusion to your post, and bears repeating.

Muslim Spain was a perfect example of a flourishing society in which Jews, Christians and Muslims lived in mutual respect and cooperation.
Muslim Spain was the last hold-out of the Umayyad dynasty. 'Abd al-Rahman, the last surviving prince, had fled to Spain after the Abbasids had defeated the Umayyad army, and then began to systematically hunt down and kill all surviving members of the family.
Al-Andalus wasn't representative of Islamic civilization, it was a rebellion against it.

Islam is antithetical to, and irreconcilable with, Judeo-Christian societies.
Indeed, it can be argued with the greatest of ase, that within Islam, Muslims seem to spend much of their lives killing other Muslims (Suni v. Sufi, for example).
ISLAM DELENDA EST!
