The irony is that classic and traditional buildings are more “green” than glass boxes and most modernist buildings.

This is just more of the “emperor has no clothes” syndrome affecting architecture and design. Witness the Brangelina designs for rebuilding New Orleans.

I do like the appeal of modernism. I like glass furniture for it lightness and compactness but then that's me. Seriously, the Left is a century late to the Bauhaus design meme.

San Francisco was one of my top 5 favorite cities. I’d love to but ... I’ll not go back for now. They are certifiably nuts. I won’t support the leftist fascism that has become that once great city. New Orleans, New York, Vancouver BC remain on the list. It’s hard to ignore the goofiness but I try.
