....which leads me to the comment "Or else what?".
It just wouldn't be a Monday without a pronouncement from the Goreacle.

“stand accountable before history for their failure to act.”
.....AlGore decends from the mount....

Or else it will fix itself. They only have a few more years to milk this crisis for as much money, prestige and fame as they can before they cycle changes and the “crisis” is over.

I used to be amazed by the gullibility and arrogance of the “climate changes” nuts.
Now, I’m getting angry.

Gore urged China and the U.S. -- the world's biggest carbon emitters -- to "make the boldest moves, or stand accountable before history for their failure to act."No word yet from Gore's Mercedes luggage-handling system.

“Or else it will fix itself.”
You assume there is a problem that needs to be fixed.

Gore Warns: Fix climate or else I just can't believe that the world has come to this:
Modern day shamans, ignorant, hungry for power and endorsed by once-prestigious groups like the Nobel.
By the way, "or else what?"

Since I can positive global warming is a real and a real (but slow) problem. I despise Al Gore probably even more than those who think GW is not real.
What Gore has done is to short circuit a bi-partisan concern and make into a political football.
Ronald Reagan had the right approach when he recognized the seas were rising. Study - don’t blame the Democrats and see if there is anything we can do with stupid things like collapsing the economy off the table.

In accepting the prize he shared with the U.N. climate panel, the former vice president said humanity risks sliding down a path of "mutually assured destruction." Like Al Gore sliding down his path toward madness? On second thought he's not mad as he has become a multi-multi-millionaire over the last few years. He's simply a snake-oil saleman!

He is more than a fool. He is a dangerous demagogue trying to ruin our economy.
To: wbill
He played on our fears.
Just as he did when he and his wife “burned” records and threw people under the bus with their government hearings into the obscenity of youth music in the 1980s. It put Gore on the national stage and gave him a shot at the 1988 Presidential nomination, which in turn got him the VP nod in 1992 and again in 1996.
This man seeks power his daddy promised him. He preaches fire and brimstone to get it.

To: wbill
The problem is, we don’t have any common sense politicians out there at least questioning the whole premise of global warming. It’s not “PC.”
It’s become a part of the culture war.
