Richard Dortch is a class A douche. I was visiting with David Hampton recently. He's the Editorial Director (I think that's his title) at the C-L.

David's a liberal, but an honest one. Over beers at Hal and Mal's we talked politics for a couple hours. He told me then I could write a guest column, though it'll be limited to 600 words.

I now have a topic. I'm e-mailing David today to let him know a column will be forthcoming.

Since he's an honest liberal, he will have seen Dortch's column for the straw-man bigotry that it is. Stay tuned.

Many of us in the South are successful, have remained active in politics because of and supporting ALL Conservative fundamentals, try to improve the atmosphere by displaying Southern manners and a sense of "culture", with some of us even being members of Mensa!

The South feeds the World, controls the Space Program, has warm weather, beaches, beautiful women, great fishing, wonderful Universities, tremendous golf... we have theater, literature and music that has helped to shape America... we refine most of America's energy... GOD is still present in our daily lives and environment, and we are the most Patriotic of all regions! This author can just pucker up like the butter-cup that he is and kiss my arse! I bet he squats to pee... the little b!tch!
