The Hillary fans were out in full force on DU trying to counter the affects of the Oprah. They called Oprah, anti-union and made all kinds of scurrilous remarks about her lack of union support and her Wall-mart tactics.
Maybe Obamarama will pick Oprah as VP.
Oprahpaloooza part 2 coming up.
Oprah likes him because he is black. Perioid. End of story. What a racist.
He made a lame joke about that very thing. It went over like a lead balloon.
Sound the bullsh*t alarm.
Does she have any names?
Isch kabibble. They are both dreck!
What I noticed was that Obama has no sense of timing when trying to tell a joke. His comment about Oprah's having a "funny name" went right over the heads of the audience and did not bring a smile from Oprah. He was probably trying to link it to comments about his name, but he failed to make the case.
Oprah based her decision on whether her loyalty to her sex (Hillary) or her race (Obama) was superior to the other. We see that the latter won. The views of each candidate was irrelevant to her choice.
She can say nothing of substance about Obama because there is nothing of substance about him. What about who this man endorses for president? When does he get a national audience for an hour to talk about who he endorses?
Charles Elwood "Chuck" Yeager (born February 13, 1923) is a retired Brigadier General in the United States Air Force and a noted test pilot. In 1947, he became the first pilot (at age 24) to travel faster than sound in level flight and ascent. His career began in World War II as a private in the U.S. Army Air Force. After serving as an aircraft mechanic, in September, 1942 he entered enlisted pilot training and upon graduation was promoted to Warrant Officer and became a P-51 fighter pilot. After the war he became a test pilot of many kinds of aircraft and rocket planes. Although Scott Crossfield was the first man to fly faster than Mach 2 in 1953, Yeager shortly thereafter exceeded Mach 2.4.[1] He later commanded fighter squadrons and wings in Germany and in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, and in recognition of the outstanding performance ratings of those units he then was promoted to Brigadier General. Yeager's flying career spans more than sixty years and has taken him to every corner of the globe, even into the Soviet Union during the height of the Cold War. ‘I want a black candidate with a tad of black in him.’
Would you elaborate please? Should he tap dance on stage or maybe wear a ‘du’ rag on his head?
I was wondering how the republican and conservative fans of Oprah would take this. Apparently not to well. I can understand that she would endorse the candidate of her choice, but to go out and campaign for him seemed kinda risky to me. But with her $$$$$ I’m sure she could careless what anyone thinks.
Years ago I tuned into her show and it was about her losing weight. I accidently tuned in about 10 years later and it was about her losing weight. So what’s next? For me she pulls no weight in this election.
Oprah has come out of the closet. She has been funding political ads, etc. for years on the QT;of course only for Democrats. Why didnt she get behind Sec of State Condoleeza Rice? Wasn’t she accomplished enough for Oprah? Michael Steele wasnt good enough either. Only Obama, who hasnt done anything. Remember how long it took her to get on board with the fake author? Come on girls, wake up and smell the coffee, its time to cut Oprah loose big time. What do you say about her war comments? I say “start the boycott”.
“And in the house (House of Representatives and the Senate)Plenty of them there.”
LOL. That was funny. Too bad it is also true.
