Ah, thanks for letting me know he graduated from preschool.
I guess you do learn something new every day.
>We are putting nails in Hills coffin.
Dream on ...
I'm soooo confused!
Wild Turkey is best drunk outta a brown wrapped bag...Balt more style
I only watched Oprahs’ speech, because I’ve listened to Barak ramble on and on and not saying anything much, too many times already. But I wanted to hear Oprahs’ personal “truth”.
I must say I was disappointedly underwhelmed. It was a pretty lame performance she put on IMO. It was mostly DemoLeftie boilerplate. It may have had some of her words in it, but that “personal” endorsement was written mostly by a stump speech writer. It was blatantly filled with stump speech writers tricks, and hackneyed posturing on Democrat stands, that she has *never* before voiced an opinion on.
The recurring repetition of “We need Obama” was *so* traveling salvation show.
I was expecting much better..something much more genuine even though I fully expected to disagree with things in it.
If this is what she’s gonna do for him..I expect no more than a temporary bump for Obamas numbers. Whether or not I’ve agreed with what Oprah has had to day, I’ve always considered her to be genuine. That was not what she was today.
I think Obama is a nice affable guy...but his leftist ideas and his naive inexperience, not of the “halls of Power” but real world life and death executive experience are patently obvious. The Sorcerers Apprentice was a nice lil guy, and he aspired to do great and good things..but he did not have the knowledge he needed to deal with things when everything goes sideways.
I like your tagline!
Boy this would have to be “wall to wall coverage”
WOW, am I ever out of the loop! ; )
Well I thought so right up to the point that Obama revealed himself as, well, not much.
Always keep in mind that rhetoric comes before "but" and the true conveyance is after the word "but". ; )
After a quick poke around the Oprah's Message boards on her site.. I would call this whole little stunt she pulled a BIG FLOP!
Take a look..
Oprah stop pushing Obama down our throaths!
In bad taste: Oprah campaigning for Obama
What do you think about Oprah selling out stadiums to support Obama?
There are a lot more over there.. looks like her fans are none too happy.
I think, assuming Obama wouldn't be stupid enough to make her his running mate, that she would stay out of the election. If the Republican nominee won, she'd fight him in the Senate. If Obama won, she would propose her ideas in the Senate. Whenever one of her ideas would be signed into law by President Obama, she would take credit. If her idea later went badly (highly likely), she would blame the Obama Administration for failing to implement it properly.
Exactly. All we’ll see in the news cycle is the crowd of women going nuts for Oprah (duh) followed by milquetoast Obama’s 10 second (bland) soundbite.
This is a kill two birds in one stone moment. Hillary will not get a boost for some time now and Obama came off as energetic as a sloth and as charismatic as my desk.
I think if Hillbag wins the nomination and fails to include Bin Laden Obama, that could fracture the black base that dems now hold.
If this is Oprah's fan speaking, then maybe they are no longer controlled by their Borg Queen. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if they are actually Hillary supporters trying to cause discontent among Oprah's fans.
Most fans upset because there was no give away as promised... Oprah only filled the house because she promised something to everyone...
Oh thats right that was the theme we all get Obama... how quaint.
Totally uncalled for and I suspect you are a plant.
And in the house (House of Representatives and the Senate)Plenty of them there.
But she still has the lesbian votes.
I’m starting to root for Barack due to Hitlery’s dirty tricks and rumors. He’s got to fight back though and not cruised to a VP slot.
I am getting an inkling that Obama knows he is too soon. He is smart. I think he doesn’t want it.
