Cute lil’ critter, ain’t he?
[he wore a “Billy Jack” hat back when Tom Laughlin was spouting off about some liberal sob fest he was promoting]
Puppies??
Yes. This 70 year old woman has puppies. She’s very proud of her puppies.

Thanks for the link.
Lots of sad flood stories.
Just horrible....:(
Is there any mention of the puppy lady?
I hunted around and found other general “flood animal rescues” stories.

I received this email on the Chesapeake Bay Retirever Rescue list that I’m on too....thanks for putting it up here.
Thanks for posting.
As you can see, I’ve had a few difficulties getting appropriate reactions on this thread.
Link? I couldn’t find it.
I did find the video about rescuing stranded animals. Bless the folks at Lewis County Animal Shelter, and the others who are helping out!
Nancy Punches, has suffered a terrible disaster. Her home was not too far from the Chehalis River, in coastal Washington. On Tuesday morning when the river crested at 75 feet, she lost nearly everything. Nancy is in her early seventies, a fiercely independent and remarkable woman-- generous, kind and an extraordinary part of the purebred dog world.
She has raised, trained and exhibited dogs from the early 1960s, first Doberman Pinschers, then Pulik, Smooth Fox Terriers, American Foxhounds and most recently she had acquired a much loved Black Russian Terrier, Dali. She is also an AKC judge, but is so busy with her work in the lab of the Morton Hospital and with her own dogs that she doesn't accept many assignments. She is however, always ready to help out, she chairs shows and ring stewards, helps build majors and offers advice and comfort and guidance to all.
Certainly you can see why that is, right? I'd like very much to take this all at face value. It's a heart rending story.
But you know those subtle little signals that, taken together, start to add up to a scam? This post has pretty much all of them.
This doesn't mean that it isn't all true. It may be. But it is impossible for a reader to tell the difference.
