A good friend of mine is from France. They won't surrender. France's silent majority is at a boiling point over this and I expect things to get ugly sooner rather than later. Just because the politicians have no backbone don't think the people are the same. The illegal immigration mess in our own country is very similar. Our politicians poo poo it while the people are boiling.

The crisis will come soon, as in when the dwindling French middle class can no longer support the growing welfare state

There are entire sections of nearly every major urban area in France that are completely dominated by muslims.

There are also many radicals among the traditional left and anarchist movements that are not arab/muslim who have been more than willing to assist the islamists in every way possible.

Of course, there is another solution, but soon it will be too late. First - seal the borders: no new arrivals for 25 years minimum. Second - add a constitutional amendment that says that immigrants to France must be racially, ethnically and religiously compatible with the traditional French culture. No more than 3% of those living in France can be non-Europeans. Third - deport all criminals and illegals. Fourth - authorize raids all over the suburbs to retrieve weapons. Fifth - send in the armed forces where the police are inadequate and when necessary shoot to kill.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if France turned out to be the first country to really wake up and deal with their Muslim problem harshly? I bet other European countries would follow their lead. It shouldn’t be too surprising, though. It has always seemed to me that France is one of the few western countries to maintain its national and cultural pride. Other countries, such as the UK and Germany have been battered with the mantra that they should be ashamed of their heritage for years now, but I don’t think that the French have gone that way. They think too highly of themselves for that to happen.

Yes. Upon start of riot, declare martial law and shoot all participants on sight! After that it becomes a numbers game. Which will run out first, rioters or bullets?!?

The net result of that will be (1) a call for international intervention (eg, like Serbia), and (2) the whole Muslim world will declare Jihad on France (including those in OPEC declaring an embargo)

Guerilla warfare works if the rebels represent the majority population and easily blends into the general population. Tough to conduct guerilla warfare when you are racially distinct and the minority population.

They can still conduct guerrilla operations as long as the government is not willing to come down indiscriminately upon the whole group that they are hiding among
