I would agree with that. Algor is the only Demorat that could win, IMO. The rest are even worse losers and that is sinking in with Demorat voters.

But if “global warming” is such an urgent threat, don’t you think Al should be running to save us all from this impending catastrophy? I’m curious as to why he’s not :-). After all, the window opportunity for him is closing . . and quickly.

I think that if Al Gore enters the race, he will pose ten times threat of winning the Presidency than any of the current democrat candidates.

Yup.

If Al Gore enters the race and runs mainly on the hoax that man has caused Global warming then he is going to be utterly defeated.

Albore has the resume and the Nobel Peace Prize, yet the Demagogues are not falling all over themselves to bring him into the race? What does that say about how they REALLY regard this bloated babbling moonbat????

I hate to say it but if Al Gore runs, he will be the next President of the United States.
God help us.

I'm with you--I've been saying for a long time that ole albore is right now running a stealth candidacy. He's getting all his ducks in a row, and will soon announce--with a big bang of some sort.

I'm not worried that he will win the presidency, though--surely not that many Americans are that stupid.....

Time will tell, I suppose.

And if you think some diehard conservative can pull the swing against him, wrong - it will be a total DEM blowout. While FR eats its young for not being 'purist of them all,' the Dems are focused, you can give them that. But he only gets in is if Hillary dive-bombs into crash-and burn oblivion before Super Tuesday; if she is gone, believe me, this SOB is suck ALL of the oxygen from the room no matter who the GOP nominee is.

Is he beatable? Maybe, but our candidate will have to be more from the center to do it, and he will have to be able to set the base on fire.

I must disagree with two most eminent FReeper FRiends. While I do not question that Albore could be a serious candidate if he jumps in, I think he is very far from a sure thing. He would be far from certain of winning the ‘Rat nomination and very far from certain of winning in Nov. if he were to win the nomination.

His recent Nobel and Hollyweird eminence notwithstanding, he is still a fatuous blowhard who turns off lots of people in his own party never mind among Independents and Republicans. He is in some ways more ‘interesting’ than the bland suit he was in 2000, but he’s also much more vulnerable for stoopid things he has said over recent years. The ‘Rats would have to support him once nominated, but other voters would not. Also, his crazed GW propaganda and foolish pronouncements on the Iraq war, terrorism, etc. would be subject to much more critical scrutiny if he were a candidate. He has enjoyed a free pass these past few years because he was not a candidate for office. “HE BETRAYED US!” and similar rants would come into public view if he’s a candidate, and he would only look good to fellow moonbats.

Remember that he could not even win his own state of TN in 2000. I’d agree if you say he MIGHT win (of course) but Shrillary and Obama are still the main threats. It would be fun to see Albore jump into the race in a few weeks and make Shrillary screetch and whine. They hate each other and it would be great to see them in a catfight.

You guys quack me up!

Thanks for those. If y’all don’t mind, I’ll add to my collection which is rather anemic (sparse) right now.

Albore unhinged:

This and similar tapes would get wide circulation if Albore were a candidate........

My great concern is that he came within 537 votes in 2000 from winning the elections and he won the popular vote.

true, he was just a few hanging chads away from the Oval Office last time around.... I don’t doubt he’d be a serious candidate, just that he’s any sure thing. In some respects he’d be an even stronger canddiate than before, but on the other hand if he couldn’t win when he was the VP of a current admin. in what was still regarded as very strong economy (it was already sliding into recession but of course the liberal MSM wasn’t letting the public realize that).... then maybe he’s past his high-water mark. He certainly would have to face some serious criticism over his GW posturing and public rants that he has until now escaped.

I totally agree that he is not at all a sure thing to win the Presidency, but in my opinion he has more chances of winning than any of the current democrat candidates.

I agree with many here that he will run. I’ve been saying that for awhile now. I think he is waiting for Hillary to self destruct and he will come to the party’s rescue. And I agree that he would beat any Republican out there.

Now that would be interesting.

If Al Gore entered the race, I would expect gun battles between his and Hillary’s Secret Service detachments.

No... I don’t think Algore will risk it. The dimocrat nomination belongs to Hillary and she WILL kill to keep it.

Al Gore has 8 years of association with her to know how vicious, implacable and obdurate she is.
