Interesting thing about Luntz: he's a SoCon through and through but he's not one to embrace markets and is suspicious of them. He "packs" his feedback control groups with like-minded conservatives. While I happen to believe that the SoCon wing may be larger (I don't know for sure), if the control group/feedback was from the general swath of conservatives, who knows what would have been seen. My guess is that you may have seen a strange pull in different directions as Hunter said different things while answering a question.
“Among the youngest of the crowd was Jordan Hughes, a 15-year-old home-schooler from Grovetown, Ga. When asked about Hunter’s presentation, she said, “I thought that it was really awesome. I mean, it’s good to know that one of the presidential candidates is pro-life and about America coming back to its foundation of the biblical stance.” “
I wish adults were as smart as this young lady!
"...we've got 250,000 criminal aliens in federal, state and local penitentiaries and jails."
Straight talk right there! None of this "poor undocumented job hungry immigrant" nonsense.
Go Hunter!
“..Hunter focused largely on China’s “new flexing of this military muscle that they have.” He described that new power as being bankrolled largely by American trade dollars, through Chinese cheating. “
Why is no other candidate talking about this?
Do they trust Red China even when their military hacked into our Pentagon last June, among other things?
At the very first debate, Hunter was given the least amount of time. The libs and moderates just don’t like strong and true conservatives.
Duncan Hunter is the one to get behind. He always gets positive reactions whenever people get to hear from him.
